A Grindr employee sent me a few messages on the app. When I told him I wasn't interested, he responded with a "I can fix that..." and had my account blocked. Beyond ridiculous. And barely worth writing a review about as the app is clearly filled with spammers. I attempted, briefly, to reactivate my account and received a response telling me I needed to submit proof of my age, by sending copy of a govt issued ID (ie passport) with a photo of myself holding the document with my DOB visible. And that I should send that to their QA team in Australia. Australia? Passport photo? Sounds a lot like more fishing and spammers. Stay away from this app.

The app is full of glitches and often freezes or is so slow that I don't use it as much as I'd like to. I'm surprised advertisers even bother placing ads on the app.

Recently Grindr has started unfavoriting certain favorites. Really? I thought this was a 1.0 feature we mastered a long time ago. The green online light is visible for 10 minutes after inactivity on one screen, for 15+ minutes on another. Some people's green lights never go off on the Chats screen. Connectivity is usually spotty. I'd give it zero stars, but that's not an option.
