No touch sensative controls on iPhone 11

Boris named razor

Got this game on my iPhone 11 after enjoying it on my 7 for a while and was pretty upset to find the touch sensative gas and brake don’t work on the 11. This should really get patched ASAP!

Close to perfect simulator

Some good and bad things about it: Good things: -Hard game, hard to win so need to learn to drive -Long races (15 to 30 laps depending on how long is the track) -Spotter voice give you some info ocasionally -many cars, many races. -Simulator like game -AI cars crash by themselves sometimes (wonderful) -No in-app purchases -interior-exterior views. -kilometer count (love it) -organized menu, many statistics to follow, for statistics lovers -can be played with controllers -Endurance, open wheels, street racing, touring cars, with progresive levels and classes, so good -can be played with 3d touch for progressive aceleration and braking -40 minutes endurances, still better than many ps3 games -cars progressive destruction, engine damage, windows, suspension, hood, doors, etc. -custom season with any car -easily change from easy to hard mode mid-race if is too hard Bad things: -most often AI ram to pass, or gets easier by the final laps, in straights they brake beside you, not passing. Could be improved much more to make a better game. Ravenwest seem to ram everyone to take first place. -The drifting cars in the corners unnecesarily, as if it was a drifting championship, awful thing, the worst of the game (only some cars, some have nice grip) -tire wear on endurance, is lame and tedious -no pit stops, no car fixing in-race On street championships, changing from one class (hot hatch to coupe for example) to another in the same season, is painfully silly. -event races in the middle of championships, they could just be a whole new championship but instead they are wasted and boring there, pointless and climax breaking in half season -cannot modify hud, just remove one to one or otherwise have a bunch of info -no interior car design (althought i dont trully mind about it) -non sense to have ravenwest without sponsors, if they are the best team they should have one, not just a black boring car design. -team info for laps and position only availible in joystick, otherwise in pause menu -team orders to your teammate, ¿why should i give orders to a teammate mid race? No sense and many times is unfocussing from race -many races are two on the same track, not realy great (except for touring cars where is realistic). If open wheel were one race per track would be better -only a x5 laps per race(still great but not perfect), to some 50km each, there sould be added longer races, as a 10x multiplier for races -not many graphics options -camera tilt always turning on after tweaking some options -some championship to 4 races on higher levels, not enough. The good: 25 min races The best: Hard to win in lower teams The bad: Not a perfect AI The worst: No mirror!!!

Personal GRID Autosport in Q4 2021

Honest Racer Reviews

• Introduction Hello Codemasters, I've been playing this game for nearly a year, and thought after update 1.9.1 I'd give you my pre-one year review. As said I've played this game on my mobile phone for almost a year after purchasing it back in March, before then I was a 7+ year player of Real Racing 3, that game was my top racing game for the longest time, but after becoming more enthusiastic about racing (which includes games) I wished for something more authentic. I've honestly eyed this game for years while playing RR3, but at the time I could never get it due to space shortages on my previous device, I finally got a phone with 12x the space, and finally decided to get this game. Ironically enough after reading through tons of reviews about the controls of the game I also purchased my first XB1 controller and became very exited over this game, since this was and to this day still is my first "sim racing" experience, before I honestly wanted to buy a XB1, Forza 7, a Wheel & Peddle set, etc, but when I realized the cost for just basic equipment would be, I figured less than $100 dollars over less than 1K was a no-brainer, especially since I'm only starting out at the moment. • My Opinion of the Game I've played bits and pieces of Forza games in my life, and some day I'll probably have a real sim racing system, but I've convinced myself this game is enough, it's by far not as good as Forza or GTS, but if people are looking for a starter game, then it's worth the $10. with 100+ cars and circuits, this game includes plenty for beginner sim racers. I'm personally a car fanatic of course and would like to drive more cars then provided on this game, or more series like Formula E or more GT cars, etc. I also care for better graphics and clearer resolution and better FPS. But at the moment I was excited to just get a gist of real driving physics and relatively good damage. The game is outdated now there is no doubt there, but this game provides enough, and that's the truth. A mobile version of Assetto Corsa was released not long ago, but that game honestly at the moment had A LOT of catching up to do if it wishes to become as good or better then this game. • My Personal Ratings Graphics: 7/10 Driving physics: 8/10 Damage physics (visual): 8/10 Damage physics (mechanical): 9/10 Crash physics: 8/10 Content (including DLC): 7/10 AI Performance: 7/10 UI & Heads Up Display: 9/10 Controls (tilt) 7/10 Controls (gamepad) 10/10 Settings personalization: 8/10 Career mode: 7/10 Overall Performance: 9/10 • My Concerns The game is great to a point theres not doubt, but there are surely some things that are wrong that really need fixing. The AI could use some tweaking, I a lot of times get rammed carelessly by AI when I for example, re-enter the track after a spin out (even if I'm trying to stay clear of traffic) Since update 1.9.1 when I heard you finally added rumble support, it took me awhile to figure out how to access it and later turn it on. I finally found it and got a little exited because rumbling makes the experience a little more realistic. I turned it on and went to a randomized quick race to try it out, I must have unintentionally hit a wall or something, not immediately expecting my controller or device to rumble since I'm not used to it, a good 3-4 seconds later (sometimes more) my controller rumbles, and it rumbles ridiculously late after you hit a wall, collide with a car, run off track, etc. this issue is seriously bad for it can be a tedious thing to deal with, so in your next update my #1 request is that be fixed please! It's a great feature for the game but it's a great shame if it doesn't work properly. I can't confirm if this is a real problem or I just haven't figured it out yet, but after using tilt for the first time since update 1.9.1 the steering was EXTREMELY sensitive, I would barely have to tilt my phone for the car to later swerve into something. Thankfully later I believe I probably fixed that problem, but if you could inspect that potential issue please do so, thanks. • Final proclamations & conclusion The game to this day is a great sim racing game at least for mobile platform, if it at all be possible to see one of your newer GRID games come to the App Store, I would download it in a heartbeat. But as for this game, it's a great time cruncher, a great way to enjoy yourself in a good race driving your favorite car or racing on your favorite track (I personally love Spa-Francorchamps.) it's a good game, and the best sim racing game on mobile, and I look forward to seeing some of this stuff fixed, and hopefully some more surprise features, I'm sure I'll move on to a real sim racing system one day, but until then I'll continue to enjoy GRID Autosport. Thank you Codemasters and Ferral Interactive for bringing this game to mobile and do keep up the good work!

They’re still updating it :)

Daniel5478

Amazing, I cannot believe the developers are still updating the game. I love this game, and the vibration support was a key piece that used to be missing, now it’s in the game and working perfect. Helps a lot to have it, especially when running full simulation difficulty (to feel traction loss, brake/wheel lockage, etc). Also, it looks great on my iPad Pro (full screen, no black borders). And there are button controls that show you what to press along with full customization. This feels like… Actually it is just like the classic game with all the bells and whistles. Thanks for continuing to update the game :)
