Most favorite and exciting racing game ever.

Steven Jeong

I have been playing this game for over a year and i can say feral is doing good work. So we need to thank for their efforts. And the game runs smoothly with superb graphics both on iPhone XR and iPad Pro 3rd gen 11 inch. Even there’s no heating issue too. What we need more is multiplayer update that is going to available later in this year. Please doing keep good work and update for iOS 13.

Crashing...

Almukhtar M. Azeez

I've been playing the game for two weeks, It was fine on my iPhone 7 (iOS 12.3.1), BUT now it keeps on crashing ( whenever I start a race), Also, The game needs a realistic cockpit view like RR3, otherwise it’s perfect!

Bad controls

some reviewer guy972

The controls for this game are absolute trash and do not work. I can't even shift gears when I'm on Wheel Touch mode on iPhone XS. The game is broken, don't buy it. This is one of the few games where the horrible controls ruined my experience.

Great game

This game is great. It’s so realistic. But, It took a little bit to get use to the controls. It’s the best mobile Racing game I’ve played. ??

Edit #2: Guys, gals, developers of Grid for iOS. This is my 2nd appeal to make it a true iOS game. Please, ditch the game console controls. You’re keeping so many of us away from the game. We’re not gamers. Get rid of the gamer controls. Please. We would love to play. BTW when I use the word “we’re” and the phrase “so many of us”, I truly mean multiple people, not just me. The forums for the other racing games all have posts stating exactly what I am saying here in this review. Edit: To be fair, I’ve changed my rating from 1 to 3. I’ll be deleting the game from my iPad Pro... not because it isn’t a good racing simulation, but because it’s for gamers. It came from the console world. It wasn’t tailored for the iPad. It was pretty much a straight port.... and that’s important! I dare say that the majority of iPad owners are not gamers. They don’t play simulations on PS4s and Xbox Ones, etc. They play RR3, F1 Mobile, Gear.Club, etc. Those are built and tailored for the iPad. There’s tilt steering and sensitivity settings. That’s it. No play in the steering wheel and all the other complexities that come with Grid. Does that mean Grid is not a good simulation game? No, it doesn’t. It just doesn’t appeal to your average iPad owner and thus the upgrade in the rating for fairness. As an addition, F1 Mobile was built for the iPad, not a straight port. Grid should be able to do the same for their game IMO. Original review: I can’t control any car whatsoever. I can’t even stay in a straight line. The car slips and slides with every little tilt of the iPad Pro. How do you control a car? I searched and searched and searched the net with no results showing me a guide, forum, help, explanation of dead zones, etc. What the heck is a dead Zone and all the other controls for using the tilt method? I play 2 other racing games without a hitch to steering them. I’m willing to adapt but jeez, have a forum where you can ask for help. Please. Otherwise, a total waste of hard earned money.

Disappointing.

Here is the TL;DR rundown on this game: If you have a Bluetooth game pad you are planning to get out every single time you want to play this game, by all means, buy it now- it will be one of the best $10 you spend. If you plan on using solely the chosen platform on which the developers released this game, i.e. an iPhone, then don’t waste your money- the controls are insufficient for the platform, lead to a poor user experience, and the developer is either too stubborn or lazy to update them to the arrow controls other iOS racers as well as the player community have become accustomed to over the last decade. You will have a bad time, never want to play the game, and eventually delete it like myself and thousands of others have done, chalking the $10 up as a loss.

Difficult to control even with all the options

Retro486

Graphics are amazing and everything is really smooth but dang the controls are impossible. It’s a little too much sim style and needs to be more forgiving for mobile. Just not fun at all.

Arcade users stay away!!!

Bubba103020

Most of the critical reviews seem to be from arcade racing players. Who in my opinion are either children or people with mental issues. Who the heck uses steering wheel control??? I honestly haven’t made it through the whole game yet bc after not too long it does feel like a grind, which is unfortunate. I love this game and have nothing but praise for the devs who put a game like this on the App Store. It’s been a grind for many years trying to find a game like this and then it just showed up. Keep up the good work!

Clearly the best.

I would even pay more. Simply just because this game does not have app-in-purchase. But about the game itself... I played it many years on different platform and having it here on iOS is just a heaven to spend the time at. Thank you all.
