what a waste of a dollar. I don't get the boundless opportunities for musical creation all the other reviewers see. I have at least a dozen free apps with more inspiring interfaces and sounds. i will say it's stable, and is easy to understand, it's just too bad you don't get any sounds that have any character.

Very cool way of playing music on the iphone, leaves enough space to play chords, has several different voices. Would be better if it had more variation in sounds, however this is an awesome little app and if you have any experience playing piano, should be a breeze to learn.

There is no substance here. This app is a waste of time and thank god nota waste of money since it was free. This is a simply a sample playback with only one waveform fed thru a handful of parameters. Stupid. Don't waste your time!

Apps like this were what inspired people to except these devices to be viable musical instruments .We all know it'd be nice to "be on the bus" & what it does't have that would only marginalize its intent .Honestly though I'd forgotten I'd had this .... I noted the update on the desktop and put it on my pad. Simple & inspiring work like this help us all create the multidimensional cacophony we NOW employ .By collectively focusing our intent["wow wouldn't it be cool if I could mix this app with that one!"];simply,we dreamt our dreams awake........I'm sure some will argue ,especially the so called "creators"of".."...... Nevertheless Giuseppe Verdi helped bring The Italian people together in a way that was unprecedented . What if we KNEW that we could do the same for the American People?

Wonderful musical and sound design tool! Would be much more useful if it incorporated audiobus & MIDI so that you could use it alongside other music and sound design apps in iOS that already use both these additional functions. Hopefully, the dev will consider adding these extra functions. Still great though!

This app just sounds fantastic and is very easy to play. While I have tried several apps with a similar playing interface, none of the others come close to the musical might Grantophone brings to the table. IAA and Audiobus would easily put it into my top ten favorite apps. Preset saving would also be a welcome addition.
