GAMEPLAY
The adventure starts at the parking lot of Hirschalm, a sleepy ski resort in the midst of the alps. Strap on your skis or snowboard and head down to the lift while picking up the basics of skiing like turning, breaking and jumping.
Take the lift up to Almhütte and try out your first slalom challenge. Completing the challenge earns you Ski Passes which are used to unlock ski lifts and discover new parts of the mountain.
As you advance up the mountain it gets tougher and apart from perfecting your turns, you have to start practicing tricks, rails, and drops to complete the challenges.
Don’t forget to get off the slopes and head into the backcountry areas - it’s filled with hidden challenges and secret Ski Passes you need to unlock the next mountain. But be careful, outside the groomed runs there are bears, wolves, avalanches, falling trees, and other hazards!

I don't know what the point is to portraying a game as "free" but only giving access to one mountain that you can beat in 5 minutes and making you pay for the rest. Its a beautiful game, the controls are wonderful, although it might take some time to get used to them. I played for a legit total of 5 minutes before beating the entire mountain, and that's the only mountain available without pay. You want to just play a skiing game and relax? This ain't it. You gotta pay to relax now, you fool.

This is one of the best and most enjoyable games that I’ve purchased. I play it every chance I can even if it’s only five minutes. As I write this review it is my favorite. I played it for ten minutes and bought the full game. It’s worth the five dollars.

awesome game and a sick update would be to add bikes during the summer months and then allow the snow to fall throughout winter or cycle through condensed sped up seasons
