Best Travel App

This is the best Travel App ever. I use it for the maps, walking tour guides, places to eat and even for articles like suggestions of what souvenirs to buy. Best of all you can download the info into pdfs so no need to use your data plan, particularly in another country. The gps function for the maps even works without having to use your data plan. I have even used this locally and have found out about places and things I did not know about where I live. I say don't leave home without it.
Does not work offline

Had trouble getting it to work offline. It eventually worked. App support was responsive and helpful. Be sure to test it if you are going to use it offline.

Good travel app. A lot of content is available for big cities. Sometimes takes a lot of time to load content from new location. Otherwise very good
Plan to buy upgrade

The free version of this map is virtually useless. Can't blame them for that, but keep it in mind before you spend the time downloading it

We wanted a walking tour of the Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo, DR. Downloaded the app, without the $4.99 upgrade the information was not useable, and then the walking tour info was just a copy and paste from Wikipedia. Don't waste your time or steps.

I downloaded some cities and then deleted the app. Planning to go overseas and all my downloaded cities are gone and the format has changed.don't waste your money.

I have been using GPS My City for several years during my travels. I always check there first once I've picked my destinations. I'm very happy to have seen continued improvement over the years. The apps are now awesome! Full versions definitely rock! Way to go!!
