NITROME APP MAKERS LOOK AT THIS

This game is really fun and I like its random characters. I am writing this review because I want to say something to the people at nitrome: please make less endless games and more games with actual levels like gunbrick! The endless games like roller polar, endless doves, go pogo, rust bucket, and vault are ok but I quickly get bored of them and delete them. A game with actual levels and maybe some kind of story would be way more fun and interesting.

Nitrome, you guys have quickly become my favorite developers! GoPogo, RollerPolar, Rust Bucket! Great games all of them! I love every bit of gameplay about GoPogo! The music is great, the platformer aspect is fantastic, the art is phenomenal! It's an incredibly fun game with the perfect amount of challenge! The ads don't bother me. What does bother me is that even though I have beaten all 40 levels, the achievement for beating level 40 is still locked... Please fix this and I'll give 5 stars.

Compared to Nitrome's other games, Gopogo certainly stands out. In a bad way. The controls are unpredictable. The ads are unforgivable. And to top all of that off, the 3 death rule on the main game makes the game extremely boring. It's already difficult enough with the heinous controls but add on the aspect of having to gain back lives with ads or playing the banal and trite endless mode, the game becomes a total mess. Every time you die on the endless mode, you have to watch an ad, and then return to the main menu. Do not waste your time playing this game.

Guys. I love everything you make. I'm confused why people are saying the mechanics are broken or whatever. The game has a different pace. You have to be patient. It's not auto runner speed and they have to understand that. This game rocks. Rock on Nitrome.

Great game but a bit hard at first

So I read some reviews saying how hard this game is. It is not that bad when you get the hang of it I unlocked all the characters and got all coins in all the levels. But I would love to see new levels and like power ups you will find in infinite mode.

First, I would like to say this. Nitrome makes great games. Like, really fun, high quality, stylish games with kick*ss music. If you've never played one of theirs before, give one of there other games a try. You won't regret it. If you're really on the fence, all their PC games are free to play in browser. I was playing them since elementary school, and they just keep getting better. All that said, I tried to like this one. I really did, but the learning curve for Gopogo is just way too steep. That may not be a problem if you could just hop back on the horse (or pogo stick, as the case may be) like Super Meat Boy, but you can't. In Gopogo, you die. A lot. And when you do, you are sent to a menu where you are asked to by more lives with in game currency, watch an ad (this option can only be used like three times), or quit. Now, this type of life based system can work to give your player an arcade like incentive to get better at the game, but in this case you never get a chance to practice or improve before hitting a paywall. How is anyone supposed to improve at a game if they can't even get past the third level? Do you think you could, I don't know, make survival mode ad free so players could get used to the tricky to master mechanics before taking on story mode or something?
