Google Sheets is free iOS app published by Google LLC

There is currently no way to open (or even view to copy/paste) links. This is a huge oversight.

I have a Google sheet in a discord server I click on it and it asks if I want to use the google sheets app I say yes (it’s installed on iPhone), iPhone opens the app but not the sheet I had clicked on. Cannot click on a sheet link and have it open in app.

If you are using this app on a phone, it’s a great app. However, I use an IPad in place of a laptop. This app is far too limited for IPad use

Idk what happened to this app but it’s ability to perform basic tasks has tanked. Something as simple as formatting a general font size or color for ascending cells should not have such a lag and cause the app to quit. Based on the most recent reviews it would seem this has been an ongoing issue the developers have allowed to continually slip through the cracks for several previous lackluster app updates. Will just go back to using apples numbers app..

Title says it, great app but recommend it more for viewing and making quick edits to worksheets than creating worksheets, at least complex ones. Really want the Data tab like on my computer.

Great app and I love using google sheets. I wish it allowed to paste values only. Supporting Face ID/Touch ID protection for documents would be nice also, and would ensure only the intended viewer of a shared document can open it via authentication.

On the same spreadsheet if a field is set as a date on android a date picker appears but on iPhone it remains a number picker.

Crashes every time I open it, every time, on iPad or on iPhone. I think it just can’t handle the array formulas or charts, or other complex tasks that I usually perform in Google Sheets. Which, honestly, is just about every spreadsheet I make. More to the point, you can no longer access google sheets online from iPad either, meaning spreadsheet work on this machine is totally out of the question unless I wish to go through the ridiculous tedium of using teamviewer or some such to control my PC. No, thank you. I’m really hoping in the future, especially with the whole “your next computer might be an iPad” campaign that apple has been doing, we’ll see a fully functional .xls program for iPad.

this app is really easy to use and useful but i wish there was a pin/faceid to open the other google apps, not just the drive. when faceid is turned on for drive, it doesn’t affect docs/sheets. making the option to have it on/off for different apps would be super useful

For experienced spreadsheet users, the app version of Sheets is really terrible. It would not allow you to use any keyboard shortcuts even if you own Apple’s Magic Keyboard. I also do not understand why it would not show the top drop down menu like the web version. This is a very trimmed version of the original and it is really painful to be productive while using it. I do not understand why it produces a lot of errors when using formulas such as GoogleFinance. In the App it would endlessly display “...getting data” while if I open the same file in Safari using web version of sheets it retrieves the data instantly. I deleted it and open Sheets inside Safari. You will be very thankful that it operates normal that way.
