Just want to read my book

Finally got all my books to show up. Can't select the book to read it after it downloaded to my iPad. Super frustrating.

Hello. Perhaps in the next update of this app you could provide additional search tools, like being able to search for free books or being able to filter results in different ways like by subject, nonfiction vs fiction, etc. It would be a huge help! Thank you very much.

In-text search box could use some work

I use Google Books to purchase my books for college and I love the availability and pricing. However, there is a major annoyance when it comes to searching for text in the book. The search buttons reveals a box on the right hand side which covers almost the entire second page. It's very hard to see text that is being highlighted because it's being covered by the search box. I would really like to suggest making the box expand the second page so it doesn't cover up the text. I've access my book from a 27" display and no matter how much I increase the size of the window, the box still covers almost the entire second page. The same annoyance is also present on iPad. I love the books I purcahse and the reliability of the apps just I wish the search box design could be improved.

Why in the world did you take away the extremely convenient on page word definition feature? Also the on page translations were really handy. I wish there was some way to get it back. Do not fix what wasn't broken

Something broke.

Can no longer open the app after latest update. Starts to open then shuts down. Bummer.

I was tricked into google play when I bought a book that I thought would be for IBooks. Several the pages in the 2 books I bought do not present, merely showing the wheels grinding on the screen...indefinitely. WHen it happens, you cannot get out of the program...it just grinds infinitely. I have deleted both the books AND the app several times. Now both my books grind and I cannot read anything. I would expect more from Google. This app is crap and I wasted money on books I cannot read...at all. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS RIPOFF APP!!!!

I'm liking this better than iBooks. Mind you, I'm not a hard core feature user. Just the basics. But it's fast, intuitive and features like translation and definition work very well.

Loses place in book.

Disappearing book covers

All of the book covers keep disappearing. They come back after a reinstall for a time but then mysteriously disappear again. Please fix.

I hate the mobile application of Google Books. It is slow as hell. Searching for key words is difficult; it would be of big help if the words were highlighted upon clicking on the page of location. The orientation is off. Make it so that readers can increase the size of the words as well. Until then, 1/5 .
