Love this app, but this version crashes ever since the update. Previous versions are 5 stars - this one unusable. Please fix asap.

So verrrrrrryyyyy happy to have my Google Maps back, it is THE BEST! THANK YOU GOOGLE!!!!!! The street view is the tie breaker!
App crash on startup

I'm in the same boat as others. App crashes when you open it. Immediate crash to home screen. Even erased phone, started over. Still crashes on app open.

Typically when someone is using Google maps they are traveling so they do not have a stable Wi-Fi connection. They have to rely on cellular connections and in many areas we completely lose cellular signal and more often just cellular data. Since the latest update, the app refreshs throwing away the old map and pulling up a new map based on where you currently are. This is ridiculously annoying because you can no longer use Google maps if you don't have a good data signal. Either add an option that allows us to remove the auto refresh and then watch 100% of your users use that option or just make it stop auto refreshing because that's just stupid and completely diminishes an otherwise great app.

Each moment refreshing the rout is a big problem because mybe sometimes i dont have an internet connection and lost the route .

Google maps is my favorite program but the latest update gets into a crash loop (crashing as soon as you open it) after only a couple of searches. Terrible quality control for a major software company. Well at least there's Apple maps and I guess Google doesn't care about their iPhone apps any more.
Stop the widget acrobatics

Glad Google is embracing iOS widgets, but the way the nearby-transit widget collapses and expands again whenever it refreshes is highly distracting/annoying, and has caused me to remove the widget.
