HOW DOES THIS STILL NOT HAVE MULTITASKING on iPAD?????There is no excuse for this app to not include side view, multitasking features, and other core ipad app design features. It’s 2020, get with it Google. This app could be so great if those features are added. And also if it made better use of the space instead of leaving a giant list of chats with copious amounts of white space in between, such a waste.

This app is so good for messaging and no this is not a bot account. I personally think that it amazing but............... hangouts was 10000% better than it.
Why did you do this? Horrible decision.

Hangouts was way better, there were commands, it was somewhat original, and it’s UI wasn’t a piece of crap. This is just Discord: Made in China editiojn.

This app was good, do not get me wrong, but then suddenly a update came and completely ruined the app,I could not use my account to log in even though I tried others, it still won’t work.

It’s pretty good but for some reason my email won’t work anymore. I use my school account to text my niece and I used to be able to do it but now it says I don’t have permission to use the email. And when I tried to text her with my other emails it says I couldn’t use those either.

I love Google Chat. I discovered it in my Gmail app. My school had access to it for like a day and I chatted with some of my friends and teachers. But the next day, I was not able to access Chat (my school account). Idk what happened. Can you pls fix this?
No basic functions

No multitask (iPad), No way to share more than one file, picture. No Gif support, no drag & drop for easy and fast file sharing. This is not a good chat app overall.
Only one account can be signed in?

Can you sing in multiple accounts like Gmail or Google Hangouts? ‘Chat’ does not have the same add account box that has become customary In google apps.
