Better than Blue Apron but needs some work

I’ve replaced my Blue Apron subscription with Good Eggs’ Weeknight Meal Kit, and in terms of ingredients, flavor, menu and dinner prep it is a major step up. However, the app could take some pointers from Blue Apron’s user experience on the app. On Good Eggs, the meals in your weekly kit are hard to find (requires several clicks through), and favorite recipes from the kit cannot be saved to your Favorites section. I realize this section might be meant for re-ordering items, but users (like me) may be using Good Eggs for more than just grocery shopping and could benefit from a user experience that also caters to folks who are looking for easy meal prep over grocery delivery. Overall, it’s a great alternative to Blue Apron but some customer experience elements could use a little work.

The app is easy to navigate and the food is fresh and delicious. Prices are a bit higher but you get what you pay for!

What a great way to support fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. Plus there are tips and facts in description that help you learn and figure how how to cook something new! As a mother with a young child, this helps a ton when groceries are delivered right to your door. Also, the customer service is great when things are not quite right. How can you NOT try it?

One of my fav apps on my iphone. I love the way that the app is set up in that you can search by keyword, category, etc. If the product you are looking for is on the app, you’ll find it. It’s also super easy to modify the quantities in your cart or remove/delete items. I can order my groceries for the entire week in about 15 minutes while sitting on my couch using my phone. Welcome to the future.

I love love love good eggs. I hardly ever write any reviews but I just gotta express my appreciation. From product selection to its delivery service, good eggs has instantly won my heart. Their meat selection is superb & super fresh (perfect for an easy dinner-date at home), and they have a wide selection of local products!

Unique selection of products tailored towards whole, organic, simple foods. It’s the only place I can find raw milk and raw cream. I can’t drink pasteurized milk without getting some serious stomach pains. Great quality products, I only have good things to say about my experience with good eggs.

This app is so annoying to use. They don't make use of any iOS conventions: you can't swipe from the left to go back, you can't use your stored passwords or typing shortcuts. I had to jump through hoops to create a password, just to unsubscribe from all their spammy emails. Madness!
