Level 100 review

Through several updates, tons of frustration, and lots of fun I finally reached level 100. Obviously I enjoy this game but I will tell you this is NOT golf. 500+ yard drives, 90 foot putts, and a bizarre point system that serves to break ties make this something other than a great golf simulation. 9 hole scores of 15 to 18 under are required to just be competitive. You almost have to get eagle or albatross on every hole to have a chance. All that being said I do enjoy this game. Being an avid real golfer the one thing I would get rid of is the point system. Golf is a game of fewest strokes. All square or tied play on or accept the tie. It’s very frustrating to play all square against a higher ranked player only to lose based on a point system. There are no points in golf. So if you’re considering Golfstar I say give it a try just prepare yourself for a lot of beat downs till the time comes when you can score 15 under for 9 holes. Have fun!
Spend so much and get nothing

This is a fun game, but there is really an issue with how much you have to spend to get anything. More specifically, the Cake Ticket event. I spent so many tickets for GP and Coins, and when the event ended I had nothing to show for anything. It’s very frustrating!!
Fun but bugs

Fun golf game, but bugs in the game that make, it very frustrating. Game hangs up a lot. Can’t receive any duplicate consumables so end up losing the new ones. Bad connection issues. More frustrating than its worth. Find a different game.

With the most recent update, it seems that nearly every time the game starts, it needs to download nearly 800 MB of data. Depending upon the quality of your internet connection, this can take as long as 15 minutes. For this reason, the game gets only 2 stars. Beyond this issue, the game is fun to play, although probably a little frustrating for beginners. Also, there are a lot of features that are not at all intuitive, and while this doesn’t affect core game play, it can confuse users.
