Wasted years on this "video clip" game. Your acquired stats versus your opponents predetermines every shot result. You are in effect simply starting a video clip always assured to end on green edges and other eerie bad breaks so higher stat player wins. This game asks you to play so "others" can have fun. Total waste. Update: just played tournament and used 9 consecutive putting guides and missed EVERY putt! And they want you to BUY these! The game can be ok if you under no circumstance spend money. The only way to correct corruption in programming intent (if-then loops are where you discover the INTENTION of the game) is by playing for free ONLY. They give enough freebies away to have useless combustibles. It hurts with the future potential of the game to spend money. Eventually even corrupt corps cave to the bottom line. Oh and to the gatekeeper with the “sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact GolfStar to help make game better” STICK IT UP YOUR *SS!

The game itself is fun but the way the points are set up on match play formats make are really bad. You get rewarded more for being off the green and hitting more shots than getting oj the green but missing a hard putt. Also there is just too much confusion with improving your clubs because there are too many options. Transcendence, synthesize etc I have no idea what the hell the stuff is.

There are too many things complicating the game. Always updates for updates and loading this patch and another patch

I do not stop and take the time to review many apps, and can’t get past the bad business models to enjoy most games on it, but this really is something special. I’ve played golf games on consoles and PC alike, and none of them come close to being as intricate and deep as this game. This is, in ever respect, a golf RPG. The sheer number of activities to do in it and things to accomplish surpass anything I’ve seen in a sports game. The graphics are fantastic, yet the game runs extremely smooth, and the sound effects, music, chimes, and even ambient noise in the background are all equally high quality. This game does SO MUCH right. There are a wide variety of prizes to win and most importantly, plenty cosmetic upgrades to win which allows you to make yourself unique and stand out when playing one of the wide variety of multiplayer modes. That’s another thing this gets right, you play golf “quests” with objectives, there are hundreds of different ones in unique locations, with wide varieties of courses, greens, slopes and hazards. Another thing that sets this apart is that you can do most of these completely solo, without being forced to play multiplayer. But the very best part is that 100% of this can be done *completely free.* No freemium BS. I’m serious. All of the things you can purchase do little more than make the game slightly easier. You won’t be waiting around until you’ve unlocked some currency. You won’t be slowly grinding through repetitive stuff just to get some silly resource. None of that usual freemium business model is to be found here. You could experience everything the game has to offer (we are taking 100+ hours of content!) without spending a dime if you so choose. In other words, why take my word for it? Download it, try it, and you will see, if anything, I am underselling this. I feel like the only explanation for the bad reviews are the marketers for the other popular golf games, terrified about their business going under if too many people find this gem.

I play this game almost every day. The reason I give it 3 stars and not 5 is because you some times play with people that easily get to the green in 1 shot on a par 4. I see messages to congratulate others for getting albatross, I mean, I like a game I can relate to, but when you have players hitting 450 yards on their drivers, that makes no sense and takes away all the fun.
