Plagued with connection issues...

cra5h.com

It never fails, I lose a bunch of games in a row because this game can not seem to keep a connection. I get the little no network icon at the top right of the game and my character freezes until the game is over yet all the other players continue to play. Although I’m connected on a very fast WiFi internet connection... this is THE ONLY APP that seems to have this issue. I thought that the point of a game is to have fun. There’s nothing fun about app issues.

Developers should not quit their day job

I have lost 300+ trophies today because they can’t program the game to run properly. Every time I try to play the app shuts down and I lose trophies because I automatically get last place with no chance to actually compete. Go back to school and learn how to program an app that works! ?

IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Great game except for the cheats!

addisticks

Fun game but there are some hacks and cheats other players use to win. Have fun, but do not spend any money.

Too bad

Super fun game ruined by constant connection problems and non existent support.

Good game but...

This is a very fun game. I just have a couple of suggestions. Why do u lose so many trophies when you lose? I could be at 730 trophies and them lose oke round and be down to 690. This is very annoying please fix. Also I’ve notice that some players use the sticky ball power up to stick to the invisible side wall of the course. You guys should make this not possible. Other than that this is a great game.

Fixed

All games have a preset winner and no amount of upgrades can help you. People with half your skill points have faster reset times. Skill points are of no value and you are paired with people twice your level. It’s fun to watch how bad you get screwed tho.

Stacked against you if you don’t buy their stuff.

FINAL UPDATE: I continued to play this game even after complaining about. It has become increasingly obvious that the results of each round are pre-determined. This morning was the last straw. In each of the three rounds, the lowest-ranked opponent (by level AND trophies) won three straight holes each time, sweeping each match. Really? What are the odds? I even noticed that said opponent had much greater speed and recover time than me, even though I am 12 to 14 levels ahead of him. This is not coincidence. How do you spell DELETE? UPDATE: After my first review where I complained about playing against opponents who are at a MUCH higher level (with the commensurate built-in advantages), the developers decided that they would now ELIMINATE the reference to the level of the opponent. Now, you get hooked into a game where you don’t know that your opponents have distinct advantages (faster shots, more accurate, faster recovery time) until you have to play against them and get trounced. So, instead of leveling the playing field, they decided to obfuscate the problem. SMH. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve been playing this game for over a month now. The positives - it can be very fun, very challenging and very fast-paced. The downsides - the random assignment of opponents typically results in you playing at a disadvantage. I am a Level 8 player and I would estimate that at least 75% of my opponents are at higher levels - typically MUCH higher. I cannot tell you how many times my opponents were all Level 13, 15, 17, etc. This is critical because their shots will go farther (most important on tee shots) and will recover faster (important on other shots). Of course, the only way to overcome this is to achieve a higher level. This either requires great patience in collecting Diamonds and Bux, OR, you can BUY these things for a faster climb through the ranks. No thanks. The other phenomenon is that the AI predetermines who will win. Beyond the disparity in Levels, it seems as though the AI picks a favorite for each game. If you are NOT that favorite (logically 75% of the time), you will notice that there is one other player that will hit your ball away at a critical moment and/or will make a miracle shot to beat you by a hair. I’m not talking about good, strategic play, which I respect. I’m talking about odd occurrences that seem to be prevalent. At first I thought it was just me and my competitive nature, but it happens far too frequently to simply explain as superior play. All this begs the question - why can’t these developers level the playing field? What possible motive can they have for stacking the deck? Your guess is as good as mine, but methinks it might have something to do with money.
