I used Goldstar, while living in Chicago, for many years. Found interesting, new venues at great prices. It was always the first site I would check for something to do. Moved to Dallas, tried Goldstar, wanting to discover new places for great prices. Not so, VERY disappointed. None of the popular or unique venues. Mostly stripper shows. UGH!??

I’ve been searching for a fun event for my upcoming birthday. I was interested in a hotel with a rooftop party. “Dance Party at Ravel Penthouse” They stated that a Birthday package is available for an additional charge. But the charge was not stated. So I clicked “text” for further info. The person who responded said, and I quote “please text ##########” So I did. And the response I received from this person was “To where?” So at this point, the unprofessionalism was clearly apparent. So I began questioning. And they had NO ANSWERS. All this person did was argue with me, asking ME why I was texting them... Need I say more?

By far the worst Cirque show ever. I am used to having an extraordinary experience whenever I go to a Cirque show but Volta is not worth attending. The comedy characters that bridge time as they prepare for the next big acts are as funny as cancer. Also, be prepared to pay $25 to park.

Play was too slow... and there seemed to be little plot... Music was good, but all in all, I was very disappointed. No matter where I get seats at the Fox, inevitably, some tall person sits in front of me, and I can’t see..... Also, the parking is so expensive. This may be my last time to visit the Fox.....
Prices good, but sometimes extra fees add too much to price.

I use Gold Star a few times a year. The shows I select have all been great and because I have Red Carpet my seats are pretty good. I do not like the little extra fees you do not find out about till. Check out.
Worst experience with app

I am very disappointed with this app. I tried to purchase tickets to Monster Jan for my sons birthday I placed my order and received my confirmation email. And comes to find out 2 day later that they couldn’t fulfill my order. So then When I tried to purchase them again With only 4 tickets, they didn’t have anymore. They only had 3 and it wouldn’t even process my order. I’ve contacted support. And all day. We kept going back and forth they couldn’t fix my problem. I even went to the trouble of contacting my bank to see if there was a problem with my credit card. And nothing. So I am never going to use this app again. Now i am embarrassed for recommending this app to some friends and family.

Love getting random emails and finding shows and entertainment I would never go to normally, but the discounts are so good and I usually enjoy the things I have gone to do I am grateful for Goldstar.
