Trouble Playing

I’m stuck looking at a gray screen. I have restarted my device, I closed the app, I tried almost everything. I cannot see the usual opening screen. The app crashes here and there after each attempt. Nothing but a blank screen. No mines, no goblins, no nothing.

I love this game but currently after the last update I haven’t been able to play. The game itself doesn’t load and will crash after a few seconds.

While this game is fun, I have to keep deleting and redownloading the game after I leave it the first time just to even play it. Was gonna spend the $15 on the package deal for no ads + more but if it’s giving me this much trouble, I’d rather just fully delete the game and spend my money elsewhere

Besides being a giant money grab, their last update broke the game. I haven’t been able to play since the update as the app just shows a black screen for a while before just closing. Besides that, the game is built to frustrate you so you buy in-game packs. The cost scale of miners and upgrades is ridiculous. Getting new goblins that level up as you purchase them was a cool concept but it’s all for naught as the prices sky rockets before anything meaningful can be done. The first goblin will be like 8 gold, then the next couple will range up from around 100 to 1000 gold. But them it’ll jump from 1000 to 20k, to 100k, to 300k to over a million, and then around 10million and then it just jumps higher and higher, and all those are still level 1 goblins and if you merge them, you’ll maybe have 1 level 5 goblin. In later stages where you have level 9 or 10 starter rocks, it would take ages to make any sort of progression. Not to mention the auto mineshafts you can get. The upgrade costs make no sense. It would cost like 100 million gold to level up a mineshaft 10 levels just to watch the production rate go from 10k to 15k every couple minutes. And that’s IF you have the resources to automate the shaft as with every new mine shaft (level) you start, the level requirements for automation also rise. Which means you constantly need to level up your cards every level but you would be lucky to get enough elixir to level up 1 or 2 and maybe get them automated. Also the ads for this game are pure false advertisement.

Since the upgrade it seems like if I want to play the game I have to delete it off my phone and redownload it or it won’t open up. I really enjoyed it up until then. Haven’t been able to really play since yesterday afternoon. Update: seen I had an update ready for my phone so I went ahead and updated it to see if it would fix the problem. Nope still have to delete the app and reinstall every time I want to play. So I’m just going to delete it and leave it deleted because it’s not worth the hassle.

Let me preface with this review by saying the game isn’t 100% bad. The gameplay is an idle game where you have miners take up portions of the map for you to advance. My biggest problem, however, if the title wasn’t a big enough spoiler, is that reloading the game can cause a crash. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game to fix it, but it happened a second time and I tried to get out of the app to no avail until I went to try to turn my phone off then reopened my phone, still on the app, for it to finally load. Before that, I even tried using a notification to get out of the app and into another one with no success. Regardless of how good a game is, when it starts harming the system, especially a PHONE, it’s NOT WORTH IT. I won’t be reinstalling again, but I do hope that the issue is fixed for anyone else.

Its next to impossible to fet into the game now. Tou just see a gray screen when trying to log in. Attempted to contact the developer but their website does not have an area to reach support. Guess this means I am done playing.
App no longer opens.

I was playing an event that ends in 10 hours and I can no longer log on. The game is fun but not being able to log on is not cool. To think I was going to actually spend money on this game.
