Duplicates overnight
't get on your nerves
This app WAS good now it's haunted. Each goal I have duplicates like a mushroom overnight. I have a goal for exercise and every morning I open it to mark off that I exercised and lo and behold I have 5 goals for exercise!!

Got rid of the duplicates but still slow crashy and unusable. Switching goal apps until fixed. Very disappointing. Broke my 93 day streak. For what? A new font?

Thanks you for fixing Goal Streaks. I only had to keep a manual log of my streaks for about two weeks before the latest update rolled out. Although it was a bit glitchy at first, I just closed and reopened the app to resolve those issues. The "Check Database" feature was great. Thanks again!

Nice interface, but ditto the review by Dos Tres Quatro. The app needs to be fixed. If you set a goal to do something less than 7 days a week, it treats missed days between goal achieved days as part of a streak. The streak line should only connect adjacent X’s — no missed dates — until a week is ended. Then only if you made your goal of however many times per week should there be a line on missed days (and it should extend across the whole week in that case). Too bad — this app has some features I really like but I’m switching back to Momentum until the problem is fixed.

I like Goal Streaks. I've tried a bunch of "streak" apps and it is by far my fave. Minimalist, visual-based design and tracking. Enough customization to satisfy multiple tracking styles. But if you want to actually do anything with that data you've collected, you're out of luck. The app itself does no number crunching or data comparison, and there is no way to export one's data. The lack of data export contributes to poor performance with more than a few goals (slow, jerky scrolling). I'm forced to keep all my goals in the app unless I want to trash all that collected data. There isn't even a way to hide or archive old goals. These are huge oversights in my opinion. The developer, while pleasant and responsive, is indifferent to feature requests. I asked for data export 2 years ago, and even after a major app overhaul I was told it will be "considered". Goals Streaks is a tracker app that I would like to go all-in with, but oversights like those mentioned above are why I just keep going back to plain old spreadsheets. For the casual user tracking a few goals for fun, this app is fine. If you're looking for a robust solution, I think you'll be initially enamored but eventually the limitations will eat away at you.

Great tool, simple and straight forward

This is a very good tool. I use it daily. It would be even better if there was a way to sync across devices. Update: while there is still no sync option, this recent update is pretty good. The ability to count the number of marks instead of days is nice.

Update(August 2015): Thank you very much for the import/export. I have restored my historical data from backup and plan to resume use of this goal app. I have therefore restored my rating to 5 stars. Thanks again!! Prior Review (April 2015): I have been using this app for 2 years and had previously rated it 5 stars. I am now in need of exporting/importing the data as I need to do a clean install of my iPhone software. Therefore I am probably going to lose my data. That is a bummer. Beware of this app if you want to keep your data.
