Basic but works.

It’s insanely basic, you can’t view “my subscriptions” or “my topics” it just notifies you the feature isn’t support yet (what?) but the cash shop works to buy Gaia cash. Go figure. It’s been out long enough you’d think most of it would be functional but no. It’s better than the old app but I’d rather just browse it through the web browser on my phone. Also where is My Gaia? I can’t see friends’ statuses or anything like that. Overall it’s fine it’ll work and you can browse forums at least but it won’t beat mobile browsing.

I’ve been a member since 2005 and I have to say I’m pretty content with the app so far. This was the kind of thing we asked for way back when and I’m glad to see it finally coming to fruition. However, there are a lot of things to work on and some missing key features, like the Marketplace. The Forum is much better than the last app but the aesthetic is not there. I feel like Gaia is going for a more Facebook-y look and it’s just not doing it for me. It destroys a lot of the artists creativity in the art shops and makes things a bit difficult to navigate because everything looks the same. I would have preferred they stick to the original forum formula and stay as true to the desktop version as possible, with the avatars showing and options to Favorite, go to user profiles, etc. Maybe find a way to make it so that users can press and hold onto an avi and then have a navigation pop up. I will say that changing clothes is more seamless on the app and I’m happy I can easily play dressup whenever I want without waiting for everything to load or a menu to go missing on the Safari browser. Definitely a huge step up and I’ll be using this app for that. I wanna see this thing get better and hopefully bring in more users!

I can’t click on wing stickers and I can’t even use the marketplace. When I hit to save changes to my abi it said it saved and it didn’t. Using Gaia through the web browser is awful and you still managed to find a way to make something worse. This is a highly unfinished product and the description should say that.

Oh Gaia how I love you, please know I support you so much, and have been a member of your online community for over 10 years, this App is long awaited and is a huge step forward to a more friendly user interface for mobile. So far I really like it, and hope to see more features come like the marketplace, Mail, tracking posts, maybe some games/town and the few minor problems/bugs like; ‘ is a & when reading your posts on a browser example: hey i&m Sad Boy Shinobi, what&s up? I know this app just came out, so these kinds of things can sometimes happen and I just wanted to say great job, hope this brings new people to the community, I know you guys will improve! I will continue to contribute to the growth of Gaia by purchasing currency C: Stand strong my fellow Gaians, much respect!

I’m super excited that I can finally try out the mobile app! Thought I might leave some feedback / things I’ve noticed so far! -Inventory: Very functional! Updates the outfits from my laptop sessions quickly, using the chance items will work, I can access all my old outfits and load them effectively, & all my items are there! The only problem is I can’t save any of the outfits I make on the app :’) I assume that will be fixed in later versions, tho! Another Suggestion - maybe consider adding a feature that makes it easier to unequip items? sometimes my hair layers and it’s hard to go back and find the item i used when i have so many things~ -Forums: Mobile provides a totally different look that I’m still getting used to!! I’m sure figuring out forum implementation is fairly complicated too, so most things will probably come later~ One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that punctuation turns into the “&” symbol. I love how fast everything loads though, oh my goodness!!! -Shops: It seems to look good! I like the new means of organization. My main suggestion would be to make sure everyone can find the Gold Shops too!! They’re totally hidden behind La Victoire right now, to the point where it looks like it’s the only shop there is lol! Thank you so much for all your hard work!! Super excited to see more ❤️ (-Sertralines )

I’m so beyond excited for this app, I literally would have paid for it, lol, but not everyone has easy access to that so we get it for free, yay! Only four stars for now because of no mailing system or marketplace, but I’m truly hoping the app will be updated to include those features soon. As of now, it’s great, it looks awesome, it loads fast. This is everything I’ve been waiting for.

Half the features aren’t yet supported when you try to click on them. My sole purpose for this app is to check my subscribed threads... which I can’t do because it’s not supported. Am I supposed to try and find them all in every forum just to see if there are new posts?

This app is smooth, great for a mobile user, and overall what I’d expect for gaia. It’s not 100% straightfoward with lots of clicks to find your way, but I’m happy with this.
