GMToolKit offers the traditional die rolling with just a tap, but goes beyond your typical dice rolling program by offering:
- Automatic hands-free rolling: Turn it on and a new roll is generated every one half to ten second interval. Just glance down for a quick check...they’ll never know you’re rolling for wandering monsters until it is too late! Got your hands full in battle, let the system roll attack checks for you.
- Define your own multi-dice roll sets: Need to roll 10 sets of 2d6..you’re covered. Need to calculate the damager when the thief falls from the tower ... no problem! Need to compare success vs. failure (1s vs. 6s)... ready to serve!
- Stuck for an NPC (Non-player character) name for that mysterious figure in the tavern...generate a unique one with a single tap on the screen. Don’t like that batch, tap and tap again.
- Place name generator creates unusual place names inspired by Germanic, Old English, Latin, and Gaelic languages
- Ever find your players visiting a new room and you need a quick description...it is another tap away. You’ll have a basic idea of furniture and items to start painting your own descriptive tapestry. Not quite what you wanted.. don’t worry just tap again and again.
The random names are based on a combination algorithm not from fragments or see words. You may get some interesting, cool, and very fantasy like names but will never want to name your baby with them. The room generator has over 100 items, dress pieces/furniture, and special items used to populate 10 templates.
Finally, every gamer and Game Master know the dice get cold and you need to pull out a new set. Just tap the “seed” button to re-seed your virtual dice bag!

Nice App. Helpful dice rolling, name gen, and room gen. Room gen wording could be looked into alittle more, but useful to read and then take what I need from what it shows. Would like to see saves. Pick name from list and it saves it to a now template. Same with room gen. Cause if used I still have to write it down with pencil to remember what was used. Also would love to see a new feature, graph paper drawing screen. Where we could draw room design outlines and give a top down view to the room description. Saves for this as well. Gave 4 due to no saves but is good app.

My request is to be able to cut and paste from the name and room generator. Otherwise in scribbling like mad before the screen goes dark. Once it's touched it changes.

I really like the change to room generator. Much easier to handle as a gm. The new place name generator would have me downloading this all over again. The roller needs a few more options like a macro to roll more on certain results. Most importantly change the name generator font or let me.

I like the name generators and the Room generator too. If you are patient, you can get very good results (Ruenoc - Red Hill, etc.). It's a must have for GM

The only criticism I have is the overly fancy font. It is way too hard to read. Fancy fonts are great for show but not very practical for the GM. Please consider a simpler font or a way to choose a font. Thanks

This app is great! Extremely helpful! Everything's amazing but would be nice to have a coin on the roller option. I don't like having to type it all in in the multi dice option every time I need to flip a coin. Also would be nice if there were some animation and ability to roll the last die in roller option by clicking the number and/or shaking the device. Great app though thanks!
