Text too small, links don't go to Safari

Lots of interesting updates later, yet text in HTML is still unreadably small. I like the options for sorting and searching, but not being able to see content is a dealbreaker. The worst aspect of this app is how it tries to keep me away from Safari, putting all links into the in-app browser or Chrome by default, and two clicks away from Safari.
Won't load emails. Please fix.

I love gmail and have used it for years. The recent version hasn't worked in days. They need to update it so the emails will load again.

The app doesn't crash, supports many files and is as quick as any other email app. Could use improvement on the navigational buttons /select/ and such but that's mere preference of mine.
Missing important Functions

I use the gmail app for work emails. It is lacking in some very important functions that allows emails to be marked with reminders or to remove the conversation sort function. The stars and other symbols are frustration to use. Clicking through all of them to get to the one needed. Just not a very user friendly and customizable!
