WORST EMAIL APP EVER!

I absolutely HATE this app! When I got my new IPhone, google said I needed to update to this new gmail app. After about a month of receiving notifications I finally gave in because the promotions looked pretty good. Well it truly is the worst email app ever! Do NOT GET IT!!! It is cumbersome, difficult to send attachments and gmail decides FOR YOU what is important & what mail isn’t...obviously they think we’re stupid & can’t figure out things for ourselves. I can’t go back to the email app that comes with my phone because, even after deleting it, it will only let me download this piece of crap.
When will it fill iPhone X screen?

I don't understand why Google have updated their other apps to fill the whole iPhone X screen but they haven't done Gmail and Calendar. Also, there should be different actions for swipe left and swipe right, not just archive for both.

App is easy to use. U can manage multiple accounts, switch between them just by 1 one touch. Nice.

So I deleted the mail app from my iPhone after having such trouble deleting emails. This app is easy to navigate through and organizes your emails by categories so if you’re like me and receive hundreds of emails daily you will not be swimming in unwanted mail. Wish I had discovered this app sooner
Not optimized for iPhone X

It’s been almost a month since the iPhone X came out. Apps with very small teams behind them have managed to push out updates bringing iPhone X support. A company as big as google should have had this done within a week of the X coming out.
