Best Bet for safety

SO SIMPLE to use, even across platforms. Love LOVE using Glympse when loved ones are travelling to KNOW where they are and that they’ve arrived safely. Never has happened, but would also know where someone is if there was an unplanned stop or breakdown… Also great to let someone know where you are even if you’re just out for a walk.
Failure to inform me my invite is viewing

Over the past two weeks Glympse no longer tells me that a person I invited to view my location is watching. This wasn’t a problem at the beginning of January. When I ask the recipient if the are viewing my Glympse they indicate they see my real time location updating but my app still says they haven’t viewed. Please fix this bug!
Fine when you work around the crashing

I use this app almost daily to send my location and ETA to my wife when I’m leaving work for the day. It does what it’s supposed to do, but it crashes while doing it every time. First, when I open the app, I have to close and reopen it just to get it to work. If I don’t do that, it hangs forever when generating a link. Then, when I generate a link and send it via iMessage, the app crashes! Every time! So I have to make sure I reopen the app and that it’s working before I start driving or it won’t track me. It also doesn’t support sharing a link easily via any other messaging app. It’s either email or Messages. I want this to support other apps, or at least the iOS share sheet so I can copy a link directly into Telegram or some other app. It’s been like this for years for me, across several iPhone models and iOS versions. I’ve only just now had the thought to do a review.

I used this to have my friend keep an eye on me while on a date for safety reasons and the location was so in accurate! I wasn’t looking at my phone because I was on a date and the location said I was in an abandoned building so my friend panicked and called the police! At the very least it caused distress to my friend, at worst if I had been in danger it would’ve been the wrong location. Deleted immediately.

The service and functionality provided by this product is great. I love the dashboard showing the trip details someone sends me with all the information presented in that small pop in window. The app however is hot garbage and shows you absolutely nothing. Not worth the download and so this app gets one star. The service would get five.
