Very happy and got a deal

flagator1950

I got mine and followed instructions and all works as advertised. Sensor mode with music works well too. I did get mine at Lowe's for 75% off after Christmas. Very happy with product and app

Decent product bad instructions and no timer

Kimberly Cox

I can't believe they didn't include a light sensor or a timer on the app so it will automatically cut my lights on!!!!

Works when it works

This is more of a review of the system. I plugged in the system, connected via Bluetooth, but couldn't find the wi fi signal. After about a half hour of checking fuses and unplugging and plugging back in I gave up. Several hours later I went into the garage and found them flashing. I was able to see and connect to the wifi signal... Everything worked great!!! Unplugged them and came back the next day and plugged them in and nothing. No lights. No wifi signal. Nothing. Called the customer service number in the instructions and was told they don't handle the product anymore. They gave me another number and I called it. Voice mail answered. I left three messages and never received a call back. Never opened it last year, can't find the receipt. The speaker works though!

Was good until

Epic ekt

Hi I am 13 year old who loves to decorate. I always wanted a light show for my house but the stuff that the professional had was like 1000 to 5000 dollars so I found this it's worked fine until it got outside the cold seem to make t freeze but after resetting it a few times it worked and with the phone connection on the app the lights or the app freezes or something I think that glotec should take effort in fixing these bugs to help their product.

Have patience. Nice product. Nice, not great

What the instructions don't tell you is the controller develops its own wifi network. After it's running, you need to log your phone out of your wifi and into the GloTec wifi network, which means you pretty much can't use your phone for anything else while it's controlling the lights. And your phone may switch from its network back to your home wifi at almost any time during set up, but once you've set everything up, you are pretty much good to go. The bluetootch connection is with the speaker only and is meant to stream music. Since you've logged out of your regular wifi, you need to stream music that's been downloaded into your phone. Fortunately, the speaker's internal system works with a secure digital card. It's very easy to select which pattern you want for your lights. The remotes work well. Where the system falls down is in displaying lights in time with the music. They tend to flicker a lot, and don't seem to have good correlation with the beat. If you want a system to make your lights flash randomly, or glo randomly this will do the job. It'll make your lights flash on and off, glow on and off, you can even develop a three-channel chase. For the cost of the unit, I would choose something else.

Not working

The music play on the speaker. But got disconnect on in a while. The light turn on even when music off, and off even on music on.

Updates

Cookie33319

We just hooked our lights up today. With the update to Apple this app no longer works. We are so disappointed! To the developer: please update your app!

Holiday decorator!

How about an update so I can use this this year!

Still working!

IronBum

I've been using this yearly for several years, still works great.

Need update

Bolero96

This app has not been updated in the last 4 years. My system still working very well but now I cannot control it because my iPhone can’t open it. I wonder if the developer that also has other applications would do the update. Thanks
