A Step Backwards

Brianwinningjr

UI is to clean where it actually inhibits UI usage. Simplify!!! Come on portal selection, normal login prompt why is that so hard? Also DNS suffix information seems to be broke I.e. I have to type the full domain name of anything to access it. I have not yet looked into this, but this was not an issue on the “legacy client”

Flawed app

iCollo

This app is a disaster. You cannot disconnect from VPN and the app tries to keep reconnecting even when its not running. Its a very easy fix.... a toggle button Connect / Disconnect while saving the vpn settings. Please fix this MAJOR bug in the system. I don’t need to be connected to vpn 100% of the time

Fast Disconnects

Psychoticide

VPN connection terminated after 45 seconds. No issues when running previous 4.1.5 version.

FQDN Only

shider70

The new version is only supporting FQDN. The older version would use the default DNS domain of the VPN.

Cannot sign in

Billie.K.L

As title, i have try to insert the same server ip, user name and password that is no issue in old version, but it showed authenticate error in new version, could you pease help to check what is problem there?

Doesn’t remember login info

A step back from the previous version.

Ipad - portrait mode only?

Repairman12

Agree with others - a step back from the previous version (but glad to have something). Bug: stuck in portrait mode - not optimal for Ipad with keyboard. Hoping a fix comes soon (thx)

Portrait only

Wolf207-

So far have not experienced any issues with the new GPVPN. However, I do not like that it now only opens in portrait mode on my tablet. Please add landscape orientation back like the old gpvpn app.

Disaster

DrewHammond

No option to disconnect and if you disable VPN in iOS settings it sends push notifications every five seconds prompting for sign in. Had to uninstall

Unfortunately Palo has not planned for the deprecation of old VPN

MrTechGadget

They took forever to release a version that supports the new VPN methods introduced in iOS 10. Naturally, this 5.0 release has had big issues with connecting to servers that were working just fine on GlobalProtect 4.x.
