If they could add the forking feature would be it but other than that It is easily used for administrative code review and version control all from your phone.
Really neat app; GitLab needs something similar

The rate limit is ridiculous

I use GitHub a couple of hours per day for my OSS work. This app regularly freaks out and refuses to load anything when I: - browse code (drill into a nested directory and then go back) - try to reply to a thread / comment on a PR from the inbox - go back and forth between projects and their issues pages When it does explain what’s wrong, it’s usually about hitting the API rate limit, though recently it just says “something went wrong.” It’s not deterministic but if I want I can trigger it within a minute just by clicking around. There is not a single day on which I don’t have to abandon the app and switch to the browser in the middle of trying to get something simple done. I don’t know what ridiculous requests this app is issuing under the hood, or what sub-human interaction speed it expects of its users. I have started to intentionally slow down my clicks just because I don’t have time to see that stupid error right now. I have become a slave of technology. The general advice is, don’t install this app. After dinner you see a notification pops up from some grumpy user in another time zone. You think to yourself “I can unblock them real quick and easy, just need to link to that other file.” And then a 30 seconds reply turns into 5 minutes because the app decides that you are too much to handle. Before you know the kid is yelling and the husband is talking about work-life balance. It’s not worth it.
