Useless waste of time

As most of the prior reviews have already stated, there is little correlation between the times and locations listed on the app and the presence of actual Girl Scout troops. I went to two different locations well within the designated time slots listed in the app and in both instances there was nobody in sight selling cookies. This app should provide a way to contact the local troop to verify whether they will actually show up. Make it easy for me to give you my money. Based off some reviews, this app seems to work sometimes but use at your own risk because chances are pretty good you will be wasting your time and gasoline.

The Girl Scout I usually buy cookies from I lost contact with his year and panicked when I realized I needed cookies and had no one to order from! Downloaded the cookie finder and it told me there were Girl Scouts selling at my nearest Walmart. I went and sure enough they were there! They didn’t have all the kinds of cookies I wanted so I opened the app again to see if there was something close. It said giant eagle. Another little 5 minute drive and I had everything I needed! Love it!

Stop the notifications!

This app just started to give me 2 notifications every HOUR (including overnight). Cookie season doesn’t even start for a month. I had to delete it. Girl Scouts, please fix this bug before you lose more users!

Went to the given location stated in the app based on my zip code and 0 Girl Scouts were there. Wasting time and gas is uncalled for. Don’t bother downloading this app ?

This app is working for me. It not only reveals where to go in my area for cookies, but also tells the time when they will be available, usually a two-hour window. Lots of options for finding cookies!

This app was very helpful! I didn’t have to drive around in search of cookies. It listed a date and time and location, I went, and got my cookies!!!

Lazy/flaky Girl Scouts?

Not sure if the scouts are just not as dedicated and reliable as they used to be or what, but these girls are flaky. Never at the spot when they’re supposed to be. The guy working at the JoAnn’s store where they’re supposed to be several days this week (according to the app) said “I don’t know about those girls- sometimes they’re here, sometimes not. Maybe they don’t like cold weather.” They’re missing out on sales, that’s for sure. *shrug*

Should require troop check-in

I've been to three locations and there have been no Girl Scouts at any of them. This app should allow troops to check-in prior to listing locations. Seems like a very simple concept and I hope the developers are reading the feedback.

The app is good, but those little tramps are unreliable!!!

... Just kidding, Girl Scouts, my hubby thought that title would be hilarious. We were using the Girl Scout website to try and find cookies, and went to two locations unsuccessfully, just using the website... The app is GREAT, very well done. We "happened" upon a Girl Scout group selling cookies that the app showed when we looked on it LATER. App does get 4 stars just because there seems to be little guarantee that the scouts will actually BE at the specified location.
