Poorly designed Gigs

Fed Up with the Gig

Gigs ot seem to have “alternate” photo options for when the desired photo or object is not present. Spent over an hour at Target in a gig where more than half the desired objects were not present in the store and was forced to take pictures of “stuff” so a picture was registered; no picture was not an option. What a waste of time; days after submitting they wanted me to go back and take pictures of items/displays that were not present in order to get paid. Told them the desired items were not present in my comments for the gig. Field Agent is 110x better, always has jobs in my area, and builds in instructions for if an item/desired photo is not possible. I deleted this app within a week or so of downloading it - rarely any gigs available, and they don’t actually any to pay out.

Never any jobs available.

Never any jobs available. The only on they have available consistently, I apply for and don’t get accepted. I wouldn’t recommend.

Downhill from here...

put yo

When I started using this app I was excited and impressed with how easy it was to make extra $ and had fun doing the activities. But then their QA’s became very petty about details that were not part of the gig’s instructions. I was asked on about 4 jobs to return to the store (at my expense) because they seemed incapable of zooming in on photos to find the details that were not initially requested. Most recently, I did audits of hygiene products that asked if their listed BRANDS had any “Out of Stock” signage on the store’s shelves. Not one of the BRANDS had such signage in the stores that I visited. The QA asked me to go back because there were some “empty spaces” on the shelves, but it was clearly visible that the products were there on the shelves. No where did it say that I needed to rearrange the store’s shelves or make their stock levels appear so that there were no empty spaces. Yes, had the instructions been more helpful or detailed I might have taken the liberty to rearrange the store’s shelves but it was not at all part of the instructions given. In total, I feel that Gigwalk has CHEATED me out of about $50 for such pettiness and probably more for taking extra time to approve payments and the deny them for such unprofessional reasons. I have wasted enough of my time to get cheated for the paltry payments and to think they had the nerve to ask me to drive back 25+ miles to redo something that had been done a week before. Do they really think the stock issues remain static when the stores are dealing with pandemic chaos from customers?

Doesn’t let you sign up

Tre7891

When you go to sign up on this app it prompts you to enter your email for email verification. The email has an Accept Invite button and a link. When you click the button the app opens on the same page that is prompting you for your email for verification. If you click the sign in it asks you for your email and password, but you don’t have a password yet. If you go back to sign up it just asks for your email and sends another email with the Accept Invite button. So it never lets you actually sign up. I have an iPhone X. Maybe this app works on a computer, but it doesn’t work on my phone. I also tried copy/pasting in the browser on my phone and that didn’t work either.

Pocket change

Good way to make a couple bucks, although the gigs have been fewer & far between even before the outbreak.,

Did not work

monty_tana

I clicked the email verification and it wouldn’t let me into the app. It tried to open and then would just close. My phone is new and fully updated connected to wifi....

No bueno

Proud App Downloader

It was worth a shot though. If anyone is looking for a legit app I would recommend Field Agent.. That pay you 4.50-16.00 for taking surveys and doing audits! I been using the app for some time now annnnd they pay you 2-3 business days. LEGIT! Gigwalk, I was rooting for y’all because I heard great things, but maybe y’all will do better one day:)

Scam!

I’m amazed at how Apple only cares about money..all these scam apps in their store with fake reviews is ridiculous...at least google allows you to report these frauds! This app is a complete scam...
