One Major Flaw

I was pretty excited about this app, but it has one major flaw. The app advertises that the people you share your lists with can instantly view them, but that's not true. Whoever you share the lists you create with, must create and account to be able to view what you want. So I attempted to share my Christmas list with my parents, but it asked them to create accounts to see what I wanted for Christmas. I don't think that they should have to create an account to be able to access my list. Especially because it says that friends and family can instantly view them. So now I'm going to delete my list, and delete the app. The set up was great and fun, but for this reason, I'm deleting the app.

I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for this app to be updated. It looked like I was using iOS 5 on my iPhone 3GS, for crying out loud! That aside, this app / the website works well for what it does. Sometimes it doesn't fetch prices in ZAR and my pet peeve is the squishing of the thumbnails (what are we, animals?) but you can't have everything.

The new app is lightyears beyond the previous version. I love the new addition of the images and the look is really cute. My favorite part is that you added fetch! Finally! It saves me so much time from having to fill out the details of the stuff on my list. I highly recommend checking out Giftster. It’s made our holidays so much more fun :)

I've using Giftster for years. I've encouraged my family to use it, too. Now my whole family uses it all the time. They even go after each other if they haven't updated their lists especially at holiday time never my 14-month old grandson has his own Giftster list. Giftster has made buying the right gift so much easier.

This version really does a ton of stuff. Fetch makes adding gifts really fast. Also child accounts and secret santa in the app are big improvements. My whole family uses the app and everyone seems to dig it.
Easy gift buying

What a great app to help with gift giving. I almost have my shopping finished. Have your loved ones make a list. They can even use the fetch feature to show you exactly what they like, so there is no guessing. Thanks Giftster for making my gift buying easy!

This app seems to be the perfect app! I have found a few tiny flaws. Nuisances really. The squashing off the picture and the fact that when you write on an item you add to your Wishlist, the cursor keeps going back to the end when I try to edit text. Annoying and why isn't that fixed? However, I do agree that this list should be able to be seen by people who don't have the app. To bypass that, I had everyone in my family download the app. We'll see how it goes this first year.
