Great, user friendly app! My family uses every holiday season! It’s exactly like a baby or wedding registry - you create a wishlist and can include links to your wishes. Your “group” can then purchase gifts from your list. Other group members will be able to see when a gift has been purchased, but the requestor will not know. Keeps the secret and surprise aspect! Recommend to anyone with a big family who is spread out over the holiday season! Or anyone with kids who want a specific toy that you’ll never be able to remember on your own.

The app accomplishes it’s intended purpose but not without a fight to try and make it the worst possible experience. It constantly freaks out if given an unexpected command. Say you try and exit out of an entry without saving by accident, the whole screen goes white and you have to restart the app and entry. Constantly signing me out. Constantly freezing and white screening.

Need a barcode Scanner

This is great for families to help keep everyone in the loop as to what everyone wants. I love the ranking portion of the app. The only thing that could bring this to the next level is a barcode scanner when you are in the store. That would be great!!!

Every time I advance to a new tab the app tells me that my internet connection is too slow and logs me out. I just ran an internet speed test and I’m at 95mps. What’s up? Update: Developer quickly contacted me with a few helpful tips. While it did drastically help I still get logged out every time I close the app or switch internet sources. Beyond that it’s a great app.

Perfect for large family

We’ve been using Giftster for years now. Large family growing with nieces and nephews. Both sides of my family now use it - two groups so it’s easy to stay organized. We use it for Christmas and Birthdays. One feature that I wish was a little easier is fetching from Amazon. The share URL Amazon creates includes text before the URL. Would be nice if Giftster automatically trimmed that away so it doesn’t have to be edited manually.

I love this app and I've been using their site for about a year now. My only complaint is that the app is not optimized for iPhone XS Max. But other than that, the app is great.

Needs to be simpler

Starting our second christmas with this app. Really hard to get whole family to buy in. Making my list this year and it kept logging me out. Really a drag to have to log back in each time I search for a gift and go back to the app. Feel like giving up and going back to paper lists or pinterest. I read advice on other reviews and did a hard reset. This app still logs me and members of my family out as soon as we leave the app. This makes the experience very cumbersome.
