Loved this last year. I gave it 5 stars. Kept my gift giving organized and budget on track. However, the Photo search feature is no longer working. It's very slow to sync between devices.

I’ve got my whole family using GiftPlanner for our Christmas shopping. No more “Who did I buy this bubble bath for?” or “Do I have something for Grandma?” So much easier to keep track of everything!!! While the highly customizable sort options, the status tracker, and the budgeting features are nice, the killer feature of this app is the Safari extension. From any product page on any e-commerce site, all you have to do is hit “Send to GiftPlanner” to store it as either an idea or a gift. (This works great for making your own wish list in addition to tracking your purchases.) Or, if you have the gift physically in front of you, just scan the barcode. Like I said, magic. Four stars because even magic isn’t always quite perfect. I have to correct price when importing a gift more often than not, especially if it’s on sale. I’ve run into a few other minor glitches here and there. I also wish pictures were included when exporting. All in all, though, this app is a gem. I’ve tried several other gift tracking apps and GiftPlanner is far and away the one I’d recommend.

Really like the app, but almost every time I enter something it crashes. Sometimes it saves the item, sometimes it doesn't.

Wonderful except for stability

I would love to continue using this app but unless there’s stability updated, this holiday season will be my last with this app. It crashes and hangs often. I also can’t see the entire screen (it’s cut off) on my iPhone X.

Excellent app with 2 small flaws

This is a very easy to use, well-thought-out, and quite comprehensive app for managing gift giving. I used it last Christmas and it was great!! There are two issues that make it less than perfect, and for me caused me to move on to something else. 1: there are some interface issues that prevent the top and bottom of lists form being seen as they become covered by header and footer bars. I suspect these crept up during an apostle of iOS or this app, but sometimes make it difficult to click a button underneath. 2: there is no archive feature. Sure, you can delete items, but I find it helpful to see what I’ve given in the past, so I don’t give something similar. I’d even be happy to pay the upgrade for this.

Buy this app. You're welcome! Multiple people lists, adding all info directly from a web link or Amazon (!), barcode scanner, passcode lock, share the gift ideas (or not), track spending, updates for bought, shipped, wrapped, etc, ...and so much more! I don't leave reviews often but felt it was absolutely necessary in this case. I have searched for many years for this app. I downloaded 10 other apps, even paying for some, and deleted all of them after finding this one. I was even trying to use a workaround for a wedding registry and a grocery store app to try and get the benefits of this one. I wanted to be able to purchase the items from many different stores or websites and load them in by scanning the barcode, entering myself, or searching the web for the item...done! This app does all of this and more. It even links directly to Amazon so I can click on the item I purchased, click Share This Item and one of he options is Add to GiftPlanner, brilliant! I tried all the Christmas list apps, gift giving apps, registry apps, they all pale in comparison. The only complaint I have is that the developer needs to tag the app in the App Store with more keywords in order to be able to find it. I have searched for years!

Watch app will not open

Really like this app on my iPhone, but the app for my apple watch won't even think about opening. Please fix it so I can use it while out shopping. Would love to give 5 stars and would if I could get it to open and work on the watch.
