This thing really works!

Or1gen

Ok, so I was very skeptical of the speed and efficiency of the city’s response on this app, but I have been uber impressed. The app is quirky, but the thing works. I have submitted over 10 reports, and all of them (with 1 exception) have been resolved in a matter of days!! I wish more San Diegans used this app!

It works but not over night

mandy~

Somethings get taken care of quickly (illegally parked cars, dead animals) but others take awhile. I reported a buckling sidewalk about a year ago and it just got taken care of

Effective method for communicating problems

KAng2015

I use it on walks to note illegal dumping or trees down. The occasional bad signal timing is quickly dealt with.

No one is reading or handling the reports or addressing the issues

I submitted a report 2 months ago and as of today it still says in process. No one is reading or addressing the reports or issues!

Don’t Waste Your Time!

The app works just fine but the users on the other side will close your ticket immediately without resolving the issue reported. Why bother?

Rename the app Don’t Get It Done

Worthless. Submissions are closed without any corrective action. Waste of taxpayers’ money.

This app is awesome !!!

When you see a problem: - take a picture - submit report - San Diego either fixes it, or refers it to the department that can. If it’s graffiti in a park it gets referred to parks. If it’s graffiti on a dumpster it gets referred to environmental services. Please be patient. It can take weeks or longer to get someone out there. Mission bay Park has pretty good response time. Some of it may be scheduled maintenance that may take a while. Graffiti is easy to cover up. Potholes probably take a bit more effort and scheduling. It’s a great way to help San Diego know what needs work.

Use Get It Done!!!

kylew361

I submitted a couple reports and they got it done within a few weeks.

Used to be good (typical of government)

Charles in San Diego

Started off well. Requests go unanswered and corrected for months now. They should just delete it if they're not going to use it.

FAQs don't work on iPhone

JT92101

For FAQs the app just opens a website. Unfortunately, the website apparently isn't touch-friendly, and it's impossible to show the answers on an iPhone - apparently the website expects a mouse! Doh!
