Thanks to Geomaster, I learned every country in record time because it was so much fun! There's so much to learn! Now I'm learning lakes, mountains, and cities and more! Endless fun and education!
Useless for Learning

I got this game to begin acquainting my 7-y.o. with geography. Unfortunately, looking at a blank outline of countries within a continent, while a feverishly running timer is putting pressure on you to guess the next answer, does very little to help learning. If you are already very familiar with geography, then this game is something you may enjoy. Otherwise, stay away. Even for me, as someone who was born and raised in Europe, guessing countries there based on their outline, while timed, has proven to be a frustrating process and definitely not entertaining and relaxing at all.

I must say that I Love the app quite a bit. I think it has drastically increased my world geography knowledge. It does have some quirks. If you play too much in a single sitting, it stops flashing the name of the country you are trying to place, and so you have to pause and close and reopen the game to continue playing. Also, I love that it tracks how many total guesses I make, so that I can shoot for a perfect record, but it currently only scores based on time. It would be very nice if they included an accuracy %, and especially if there was a medal or something for 100% accuracy.

Some errors prevent it from getting a 5, but overall I'm pleased if the developer has more in the way of updates to offer. The game takes about 20-30 seconds to intially load on my ipad3 (no troubles with other apps). The game slows down as you play and requires a restart to fix. Switching out of the app to check something also requires this reload time as well. Some of the pins denoting capitals are incorrect (e.g. Lichtenstein's capital shows up out of the country).
