"This app is intended for entertainment purposes only and does not provide true geiger counter functionality."
A Geiger counter, also called a Geiger-Müller counter, is a type of particle detector that measures ionizing radiation. They detect the emission of nuclear radiation: alpha particles, beta particles or gamma rays.
This application simulate a Geiger Counter by using the accelerometer.
When you tilt the device along the y axis the radiation measurement will increase and you will heard a audio effect.
With Fukashima and that nuclear plant flooding in Nebraska, I wish it was real!!!
Who is going to believe you have a Geiger counter with a big ad on the bottom? Doesn't even work well... I know its free but really, why did you even bother making it?
This was probably the worst waste of time I have ever had the displeasure of enduring. Which profligates idea was this crap?
