I can’t use the app it won’t refresh due to me not being connected to the matrix. The app says it’s an internet issue but my internet is fine when I use all of my personal apps. The only problem is geeking.

The app is amazing, I love it. But when it takes 10 minutes with a perfectly good internet connection to send a message it gets annoying. Some of the time the message won’t even send. I also don’t like how it stops sending notifications after a certain amount of time. I can see why it would do it with groups (wish discord would do this) because of the spamming. But I don’t see why they stop direct messages or being tagged which can stop a roleplay because nobody responds. The fact that it hardly ever updates is annoying as well, I would give them 5 stars if they updated more frequently and fixed more bugs. Hopefully they start updating and fix the lagging and notifications.

So much needs to be done for this app to be decent again, first. The crashes, notification glitches are so annoying and such a nuisance. It crashes and won’t let you do anything to up to an hour. Then the whole issue with too many bots selling nudes and the countless amount of hyper sexual people on here is annoying even though yes, it isn’t the apps fault but i do believe that there needs to be a better system to block and hide people especially without them knowing that you did. But the major problem is the lag, it is horrid

It’s great and all but you should add notifications so I can actually know when people are saying stuff and aren’t because I’m not on the chat 24/7 and don’t know when people are trying to talk to me as well as the crashes and bug fixes

I remember when I first joined this app 4 years ago. Though back then it was called “Geek Chat”, it was still a pretty good app to socialize with. Those were the good days honestly. There was great control and people were actually decent human beings. It was worth downloading back then, but after they made the big transformation into “Geeking”, I guess that where you can say that things really got out of hand. The community grew and though there were many good people on the app, the push for RP made things complicated. That’s where the real problems started to arise. Plus with a larger growing community being kept in check by such a small amount of people failed miserably. Then once those in charge were relieved, all hell broke loose. The whole place went to s***. Now it’s just a pit of sexual, depressing, attention seeking, creepy, cry babies. EVERYONE has the same “problem” and honestly it’s so annoying having to listen to the same story over and over. Also, there’s nothing but children all over the place. The whole app is just on a down hill spiral with no real control. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not too late to turn things around and comeback from the chaos that’s been built up, but from the look of things, it’s already a lost cause... unless the creators start caring again...
