Gboard is the best swipe keyboard and has excellent word prediction. When are they going to add 3D touch capability to the keyboard's cursor so I can move it around on the screen like a trackball? The stock iPhone keyboard does this, wish Gboard did as well.

When using glide to type, my fat fingers keep hitting the hint bar and messing up the word. Perhaps the hint bar could be disabled when gliding? Also, in some apps, when the enter key is changed to "send", the punctuation key disappears.

First I thought it was a bug that it kept disappearing but it turns out apple just doesnt let other keyboards show when you have to put in a password. Turns out I like this since it feels safer. Also tried iOS 10 and now that they have some fancy keyboard stuff I realized it only works in iMessage. So now I can still do gifs in WhatsApp and emails.

Everything works fine, the only thing it needs is an update to the new emojis in iOS 10

Most of the review i read involve complain for not being able to type password on gboard. This occurs mainly due to apple not allow third party apps to keylog your data . This is a security feature. The app is amazing. The only pitfall is not being able to use 3d touch to scroll through text.

Sometimes word prediction is great, especially for particular phrases or place names that I use over and over (better than the default iPhone keyboard) which can save a lot of time. However, lately it has been auto correcting what I type to words that don't even exist in any language. This is a deal breaker. It also messes with spaces, like when I type a word and then a space and then a smiley face (like :-) it will sometimes delete the space. For example, I'll type "Hi :)" and Gboard will make it look like "Hi:)" (deleting the space I typed) once I start to enter further text. It also inserts a space at the end of any keyboard shortcuts I use, which is annoying to delete on web forms and such (I have a shortcut for my email address, for example). I don't expect these types of major flaws from a company like Google.
