Google!! Please fix the bugs of this keyboard. When I open up YouTube and try to type a comment, the keyboard glitches and then I can’t type any comments. I would have to restart the application over again and then return to YouTube. Please fix this annoying bug once and for all. Thank you!

Can't learn "Kubernetes"

diverge

Pros: Forceful touch switches to navigation mode like it does for the native iPhone keyboard. Cons: Unable to learn new words. Case in point "Kubernetes", one of Google's flagship products.

I loved Gboard but it's getting worse

Ninjavanish72

Recently I have been noticing odd problems that are getting worse. I can swipe a word and sometimes it won't even show the right words anymore. Some other times it puts in the correct word in only to change it to something completely different when I start writing the next word. Then there's also the crashes that have started the last few updates. Not sure what's up.

Voice Command

Love Cotton Candy

I cannot get the voice command to work. I tried everything when I press the corner of the it does not work it is so hard. I try everything I can I expect there is an update on the app so it will be a better voice command system thanks for having your feedback section! Abby R

Need to fix new version. Don’t get this one.

Doesn’t work well with new update at all. Very slow and lags. Also shuts down from time to time.

Doesn't work with YouTube app

Jayme McColgan

Loving the improvements but the keyboard crashes Everytime I try to write a comment on the YouTube app. Hmm

Voice input still doesn't work on iOS 9.

Doggy off 2

What happened? How did development suddenly go so wrong?

Updated Review: ———————— Still minimal to no material improvements by the development team, despite what appears to be a clear call (based on user reviews) for better word prediction, improved swipe-to-type functionality and glitch reduction when using Gboard with both third-party and stock iOS apps. I've officially moved to SwiftKey until Google: (1) addresses and remedies the above issues; and (2) MOVES THE SPEAK-TO-TEXT FUNCTION SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN THE SPACE BAR. Too often, when holding and gliding along the space to move the cursor, the speech-to-text screen will pop-up inadvertently and annoyingly when not needed, thereby disrupting a user's message (or other) typing and causing the user to break focus. <-- This simply can't be what Giggled intended and it needs to be fixed pronto. Prior Review: —————— I've been a big fan, and long time user, of Gboard (and its predecessor, 'Google Keyboard') since using it previously on multiple Android devices. I switched to an iPhone 7+ roughly a year ago and stuck with Gboard since I was accustomed to it and felt that it was (then) the best keyboard on the market. No longer is that premise accurate. Gboard is now extremely glitchy, fails to open on the routine, and the swipe keyboard function often fails to initiate. Frequently, the keyboard will load but not allow the user the ability to type into a corresponding input field. N.B., Google: Gboard and Outlook for iOS are becoming increasingly incompatible, and it gets worse with every Gboard update. Gboard often fails to integrate with some of the most basic stock software and features of iOS. Gboard, now (and I note that my review 3-4 months ago would've been glowing), needs considerable work in the development arena, and the glitches must be cut down. The keyboard must also be able to open on the routine without materially noticeable flaws--otherwise Google is wasting its time and resources with this software.

So glad this is available!

I have missed this ability since I moved to an Apple device. Love it!
