Nightmare

Easily the most intrusive app I've seen. You have to give it permission to track you and to store all your location data on their servers in order to use the app. It will not allow you to even see your data without logging in first. Take a look at their privacy policy. Buried in the middle is the part where they say that they'll sell you personally identifiable information to their marketing partners or the marketing partners of any company that might buy them. Avoid like the plague. Fuelly bought the old gas cubby, deleted it, and used the name for their own app. If you liked gas cubby, do not upgrade. If you're looking for a gas tracking app, keep looking. There are a couple of decent ones.

PITA

This is not the smooth transition I hoped for. Maybe another App can import the YEARS of maintenance records I trusted to gas cubby, aka fuelly. I still have hope.

Awful

Thanks for ruining such a great app.

A hot mess...

Kelsoboom

The recent "update" has been an unmitigated disaster. I experienced all the documented problems of duplicated records and missing data. I was eventually able to resolve those issues, but I went from a simple reliable and fast utility that I didn't have to think about to a buggy, slow clunky app that screws around with my info and presents it in a garish style with flashy but useless grapgical embellishments. It forces me to enter data in a particular required order which the old app did not. Most recently, everytime I perform a forced sync, the app goes into an infinite loop and never stops until I force quit the app. I am not impressed. To add insult to injury, I tried to report the latest bug on the website by logging in to the user forums using my Fuelly user name and password. But every time I tried to post, it kicked me off and said I'm not logged in. Aargh.

Disaster!

Please bring back Gas Cubby simplicity. This is a mess. One issue is unless you enter the gas station name and location immediately when you fuel there is no obvious way to easily/accurately add it later. For example if you have a receipt for gas from hundreds of miles away and days earlier.

DISASTER

ScottyTthisAppsucks

I can't believe nobody noticed that this app decided to recalculate all the total gallon's purchases rather than simply import it. It looks like it took the total fuel purchase divided by the price per gallon and repopulated the gallons field. This now makes pretty much every entry have the wrong gallon total. Why the data was NOT IMPORTED but rather RECALCULATED is beyond me. What a disaster along with all the other negative feedback that this new update is getting. I need to find a why to uninstall the update so my original data is preserved and not recalculated. Why mess with someone that works just fine is beyond me. TOTAL DISASTER!!

Better than ever, despite migration issues

Maximyzer

Yes, there have been some migration issues, and no, I didn't reap all of them, but the app team has been very communicative and working hard to resolve the issues. I have a fully functional app at this point. I find the new user interface to be a huge improvement over the original clunky multi page design. I like that it can now suggest location names based off GPS location. I can also now select 85 grade gas which is prevalent in Colorado. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fuel and maintenance logger, that syncs across devices.

Great program thanks.

What a hot mess this App is. Took a previously reliable Gas Cubby app and trashed it with a transition plan that seemed as thoughtful as a Mothers Day present from the local pharmacy. Yuk!!

Love new version.

The rollout was a little shaky. Now that the new updates were installed it works great for me and my 5 cars.
