It’s a good app. I’m grandfathered and confirm you don’t have to pay again. I do like the app to save receipts, but I’m tired of microtransactions / subscription creep. Whatever you want to call it.

Quick & Easy

Wittsmitt

I’ve been a user since it was not Fuelly. Two Honda Accords. Love seeing MPG throughout the year, and eye opening to see gas price changes over time, and total fuel cost per year. I find lots of value in the app.

Very nice

LocalAreaMan

This app works great. Complete turn around from the previous gas tracker app.

Very disappointed.

So tired of app developers phasing out an existing app and forcing users to “upgrade” to a different app that charges more money.

Arbitrary “upgrades,” turn your data into their cash crop

MisterFox

“Upgrades,” that offer no additional features and force my data into their hands are both creepy and unwelcome. Ads mean the user is their cow. They use the data you generate to make money. And if they claim they aren’t doing that today, it is presumably in the works. Why else would they want to “sync and store,” my personal data. Unless the whole point of that is to hold my data hostage for their subscription fee. Maybe it’s both.

Warning!

Traveler-1

I sync’d GC with Fuelly and lost the entire log (3+ years) of one of our 3 cars. No success in trying to recover in GC or Fuelly. What a disappointment. After other unsuccessful attempts, I deleted both GC and Fuelly and downloaded a different - hopefully more reliable - app.

Ads and subscription

This is a no-go for me. I don't mind ads, but for such a simple app to have a subscription base is pretty laughable. I'd buy this app if it were a one time $5 payment for "premium" features with ads.

What a timesaver!

Love the Fuelly app! It’s practically effortless, and I’m able to keep track of absolutely everything pertaining to my car. I can also snap a picture of my receipts and store them in the app. Kudos!!!

Forced to change from GasTracker+

Phayd

So I’ve been a user for years. I get their need to make money, and I haven’t spent a dime with them. However, when I am forced to move to this app under the pretense of it being consolidated and improved, and the only “improvement” is I now have to look at ads or pay for the privilege of using it ad free, I’m rather tempted to jump ship and leave. There are no new features as compared to GasTracker+. None.

never should have left v2.7

Harellamie

To say I am frustrated and disappointed with v3.0 would be like calling WWII a casual misunderstanding. I never should have left v2.7. In v3.0 you can no longer 'search' for key words to quickly find notes or data entries to see when the last time you this or that checked and compare to other like entries in the search......quickly. the search function does not existing any more. Quick and easy entries has become clunky and slow with a mess of flashy, yet unimpressive, processor sucking graffics. switching between pages takes 3 times as long. I am currently looking for another app to replace this pig of an abombination of what used to be a functional and useful app.
