Xbox 360 disks = disappointment

s33me

Every single time after I wait at most 2 weeks for a game of it is a Xbox 360 game the disk is scratched to oblivion so my time is wasted and I’m left having to wait for another game. Edit: at least 5 days

So dumb

gamefly socks

Just buy the game and not rent it for a month if you want the game just buy it and keep it forever instead wasting 10-30$ a month

Decent

1st off the App is great, works perfect, and I never have issues. As far as the service itself well...... The service is extremely slow! Takes almost a month to get new releases sent. I put my game q to wait days for the top title on list as it shows high in the middle of the night only to say low everyday I wake up ? I sent a game back on Thursday and Friday the following week still says waiting for return so I had to submit a request. My 1st game sent didn’t even work and had to send it back also submitting a request. I have been with you for 2 months and had had a membership about 2 or 3 years back yet never had the issues I’ve had now. Hope this is not the norm going forward.

Question

manny1343

Have I rented the game to be shipped to me if it’s in myQ?

Penny pinching

Opineaway

I’ve periodically used GameFly for years. I do it for new releases that don’t take 100+ hours to beat (e.g. Wolfenstein, God of War, Spider-Man). I’d sign up a day or two before release and GameFly was great about shipping it to me ASAP and offering membership discounts. Last time was not as immediate; but it is still worth it.

Shipping

0325@184

I’ve been a member for a few years now and When I first started out they would ship out a new game as soon as the game I put in the mailbox was scanned. Not anymore, even if it says there Is immediate availability they won’t ship out for a week sometimes. This is the number one gripe I have about game fly. Plus being a member for so long I feel like I should get some kind of reward points that don’t expire so quickly or something. I don’t know just my two cents

Why?

zerodark

Why does this app exist? It’s a terrible app for a terrible company. It’s a scam. You don’t need physical media to play video games on your systems anymore, you know that, right? You especially don’t need physical media that is scratched and chipped (for a game WAY down your queue, even if higher games in the queue are listed as available), and won’t actually install on your system, physical media that takes days to get to you, and then days to get back to some warehouse where they will send you another chipped, scratched piece of media that won’t install on your game system. Why would you do this to yourself on purpose? Why would you give a company like this any money? Edit: They responded with some blah blah blah canned message about shipping times, which wasn’t the actual issue I had at all, so you can see how much they pay attention to important details, like “are we sending out damaged discs?” or “are we totally ignoring the queue our customer set up?” Congrats on your dying business, GameCrash.
