When I saw this game on Steam a while back I did not have any interest in a game about developing games. Looking for a good management game on my iPhone, having seen it on a different platform and seeing the great reviews I decided to pick it up... and have been unable to put it down! Dangerous game if you have anything else to do! I would find it beneficial to be able to filter my finished games by some parameters to easier see what was successful, which combos made the most money, etc. 10/10 would develop Rhythm/Strategy/Young/PC again!
Not so perfect. This carbon-copy of Game Dev Story doesn't impress me.

This game lacks the soul, the well written script and well set story line of Game Dev story. It feels distant and kind of boring, after I jumped from Game Dev Story into this game. Needless to say, a carbon-copy(gameplay-wise) is not exactly what I'm looking for when purchasing this game. I was hoping for a decent, more depth, better scripted, full of stories and surprises version of the original Game Dev Story. Yet very sadly, Game Dev Story, which is released nearly 30 years before, is better than this Game Dev Tycoon in almost every single aspects mentioned above. Graphic wise, Game Dev Tycoon is more modern. But it's not better. Still feels lacking the soul of a very well crafted game. I gave the full credit to the original Game Dev Story, after I carefully played both games.

I’m sure this app is a great game and when I can play it I’ll Make a new rating but as of now I paid for the app and it won’t get past the loading screen

I like be this game it is fun between the time you start and finish. I think it has more potential for the future I have some ideas 1. If you know what you are doing then you chose the right combination of topic and genre and platform you get a lot of good reviews.I think even if you have a good combination it should not give you good reviews right away but overall I love this game.

A much more forgiving and fun game Dev game that didn't make me want to snap my phone in half. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves dev type games

This game is fantastic. I’ve played a ton on pc and love that this game came to iOS. Love these developers too! Nice work guys.
I lost days of progress

I’ve been playing this game for about 100 hours and I just lost all of my progress. It’s my favorite game and it’s the only one I play on my iPad, but I’m not even kidding I was on I think year 36 and it deleted everything, putting me on year 1. I’m really mad about this, I want to help this game in every way possible, but please fix this bug. Be like the developers in game and fix the bugs so people don’t say you are money hungry. I was on the brink of crying when I lost everything because I have done so well, with 6 employees all at 200k salary. (That’s really hard to do) all I want in life right now is for you to fix this bug. It happened when I made a new company on my phone and then it backed up to iCloud and put my best one on year 1.
