Fun risk-like game in space

Despite a few rough UI bits, the fundamental gameplay is simple yet strangely addictive.

Simple, but effective.

While the mechanics are simple, the game is built well enough that you can employ some pretty cool strategy. The AI is solid and the random maps provide variety. Tip: you need to read the s Details in the settings to compare the advantages between attacking & defending. I only wish they would add an option for low density maps, too.

Love it as a turn based strategy game

To clear up a few points: 1. Rally points work. When you order ships check the box to enable rally. On your next turn the ships haven't left yet. That gives you the chance to override. Either end your turn and they will move automatically. Or hit the menu button and and choose to send rally. 2. Fortifications are a force multiplayer. For the cost of three ships you can defend against four. In addition, if the enemy sends less than 4 you don't lose the fortification. In fact, you won't see any loss. Great against scouts. 3. Back to menu is easy. Tap the top right and choose to back to menu. It is also a good undo because if you send ships the wrong way go back to the menu. It will restart your turn. Overall, I love the game. Starting point is crucial but other than that I have fun. I do have occasional glitches like planet not found but going to the menu fixes them.

Geniuses Only

I originally bought the Lite version, and then was met with brute force (it was unchangeably set to normal) from all the NPCs. I then bought this version, assuming that easy mode was ok. I was WRONG!!!! Even on easy, the AI came in too powerful! It turns out that if you don't have 500 billion ships to start with (which you don't) you're screwed! At the start, I started to take the enemy planets. Then, the next turn, 1,000 ships (exaggeration) were on my doorstep! THIS GAME IS AN EXAMPLE OF CHEAP SLAUGHTER AND POOR REALISM! The max ships you can produce is 5 on your home planet, and 4 on other planets. Then they combine a fleet of otherwise incomprehensible odds!!! Sure, you can do the same, but they ALWAYS have the best odds! My advice: look over this game and DON'T waste your game. With many tweaks this would be a great game. That is why there is one more star than deserved; there's room for improvement and it's nearly as horrible as Arena of the Elder Scrolls series (never actually played it, but it looks and probably is a piece of junk).
