(Level Hard 337) Overall this has been my go to subway game (unlike many, it works offline). But the recent content releases and artificial stretching is frustrating. The content is there, let me play it! But no, I played 7 levels and that is all I get for a week now. Really boring (at least let us earn cards points on any level rather than the most recently completed one so we can continue to play the older levels without feeling like it's a waste of hearts). And finally, the drop down mechanic has changed slightly- it used to be very predictable, but now the rules guiding how things slide is way less predictable, and that makes for some frustrating end game plays that don't do what they would have a while ago. But the property is a good one to work with and outside of the above it's as good as any other match game I've played, with some of the power ups being so random that strategic use is necessary (Nibbler in particular). But I don’t think this is a money grab-no paywall I’ve seen (and I haven’t paid any).
Ad filled, pay to win

The gameplay and writing are solid, but the game is heavily based on a pay to win model. You can play for free, but some features are gated behind voluntarily watching ads. This would be fine, but the game also occasionally forces you to watch ads between levels. Some of the ads are quite insidious, forcing you to stare at a fake mini game for upwards of a minute before you are given the option to close the ad. It finally became too much and I had to uninstall it. Promising game. I’d pay a few dollars for an ad free version, but as it stands, I don’t recommend it.

This game is awesome. I’ve had it for almost a a year now! You can continue through story mode on airplane mode and when you have no signal ( when I go to the doctors never signal) you get 5 life’s up front every day and each time you run out you have 30 mins before refill! No limit on refills. It’s super easy to play this game and not have to throw money at it. I’m on level 275

I love this game. It passes time and the storyline is pretty cool. 5 stars for sure

I like matching games, and this one has affair amount of strategy to it. I'm kind of resigned to all the F2P (free to play) gimmicks these games often have, and this one has it all-- in game currency, multiple collectibles, power-ups, time unlocked lives. In short, they'll try every way they can to get you to shell out a few bucks. The question is, can a skilled or persistent player keep playing without paying a lot. In the long run I'm not sure, but I've already gotten a couple hours of fun out of it, and I'm enjoying the Futurama theme, and watching the Planet Express ship fly past scenery from the show as I complete levels. The writing is better than many ios games, just not as great as an actual Futurama episode. (Partially the fault of the medium- you can't have snappy dialog when you have to tap to get the next line.) And they don't just reuse a few character head shots. You are basically unlocking a Futurama comic book as you go. Worth checking out for casual gamers who like Futurama.
