The introverted computer nerd Freja is forced (at gunpoint) to develop a sequel to the classic game "Crystal Raven Quest". Along the way, Freja meets crazy characters, solves challenging puzzles, and is haunted by a frightening shadow creature resembling herself.
"Freja and the sequel" is not a game for kids. It contains:
* Strong language.
* Violence and horror elements.
* References to drugs.
* Lots of screwed up humor.
Some adventure games claim to be funny but are not, this one actually is funny. Contains clever puzzles as well.
Loved this game. Very clever puzzles and funny storyline. Check out the other game 'You. Me. Hell.' you will not be disappointed.
Challenging but fun to get through. If you pay attention to the story line and character quips, the ending is pretty funny.
Jens Staaf is a genius. This game, and his other one, 'You. Me. Hell.' are so very clever and insanely funny. Thank you, Jens!
The comedy is off the chain, and the games are nice and LONG. If they made a new game every day, I would download every one and pay to do it. Bring it on, Biscuit People!
Very surreal. I love Jens' use of infinite regression, looping, and dream logic to tell his narrative. As any RPG, it can get tedious at times, but the story is incredibly clever and witty. Breaks the fourth wall a billion times. Artfully done. Also the music is great. It seems like it's an original soundtrack, but I can't say for sure.
I really enjoyed you.me.hell. from this developer, and the look and feel of these two games are very similar. I love quirky games, and this clever point and click adventure was unpredictable fun. The storyline, however, gets a bit convoluted as the game becomes a story about people making a game who are making a game, etc. A little more clarity would've been appreciated! As far as gameplay, having to walk across the screen repeatedly is very tiresome, and I would've preferred the ability to change scenes with one click (if not a map that enables teleportation). Still, I will definitely seek out other games from this developer, and I recommend this to others.
