Please help, can’t fly

Wolf girl 2007

Please help me, it’s saying that I have to upgrade the version for safety reasons and it’s best to use a computer, but: First of all, I don’t have a computer Second of all, it keeps saying that it can’t download the upgrade, and when I try again it says my devices are ‘up to date’ Please help me!!

Camera button on Parrot Rolling Spider

Pogee!!!

Using an Iphone 7s, Camera button overlaps with the “prepared flight” control button. So you cannot use the drone camera at all. Using an Ipad, camera button showed up! BUT app on device says “will not support low power bluetooth device” Good luck with your mini drone! I should not even bought this drone from Parrot, their tech support does not help at all.

updating is horrendous!

GoGoGatto

I have Parrot products for 4 years now. Two Jump Races and and two Minidrones. Never have I had such a miserable time updating firmware. It is extremely frustrating and not at all intuitive. It’s been FOUR YEARS!!! No improvements!!! Parrot... get you sh!t together!!

Does not work

anitamanitam

Keeps crashing. Tried install/uninstall few times, restarted iPad, switched on/off drone few times - same result; crashes. What more should I do ? It worked few times, after that app keeps crashing on me

Negative stars

My Mambo says it needs a firmware update. They show a URL. The web page has NO information on downloading an update. I’ve done this before without issue. I decided to try to update via Bluetooth and it stops at 69% and the drone goes to sleep. It’s plugged into mains so it’s not a battery issue. This thing was fun until an idiot was put in charge of the app and website.

Mambo is Broken

Tippalo

This app won’t let me fly my Mambo because it requires an update; however, my Mambo is on the latest version, so it won’t let me fly my device period. Updating to the hypothetically new update via computer doesn’t work, updating from app doesn’t work. Parrot really needs to fix this as this is a joke.

It flew off

When I tried to work it so it wouldn’t fly away nothing happened

WiFi Camera issue (possible fix)

Alone the Mambo flies great with the fly pad. To use the camera was a different story. Seems a lot of people are having this issue. I could not get mine to connect, but figured out a way to fly FPV. First download the app. Even if you have it delete it and re-download it. . After it is done do not open it. Turn on the mambo with the camera attached already. Wait for the camera WiFi to pick up. Note: make sure all other WiFi is set to not automatically connect. Select the mamboxxxxx WiFi. Open the free flight mini app. Allow any and all options that pop up. Your drone should now connect showing camera connected too. Link the fly pad and go fly fpv. Here’s the kicker. Every time you fly with iPhone you will need to delete and do the same process again. On Android you just need to clear the app cache. Maybe the app will be updated to fix this issue. Happy flying

Broken updater

No longer functional with Parrot Mambo. Asked to update then failed with errors. After using the PC USB update method to update Drone firmware, still insisted update was required, then continued to fail. Cannot ever past “Update Required”.
