Simply The Best

I've been an avid fractal program user since before there was a GUI, running Fractint at the DOS command line, and then in Windows. Shortly after getting an iPod Touch, I came across Frax, and hands down, in all seriousness, it is the best, EVER! Smooth zoom animations, fantastic colors, lighting effects and textures, and lots of options. I just don't do fractals on either my iMac or Windows computer any more because Frax is THAT GOOD.

Best Fractal App

Vandy_42

As a lover of fractals for a number of years now, I have never had the pleasure of a fractal app that gave so many features as Frax. It is definitely my go-to app for fractal creations. With its many features and functions and copious user control, it is the best fractal app on the market!!

Awesome, however...

I love this app however if it wasn't 50% off I wouldn't buy it. The iPad app should be included bit and not a separate purchase. You end up spending too much money if you buy the iPhone and iPad app plus any in app purchases like the basic ability to capture video etc.

Even though I'm cheap, I will be keeping this app

Makes you pay 5$ more for the full version.

Don't get this it wants 5 more dollars to go pro(full version)

Exceeds expectations!

I've downloading some fractal apps in the past but this TRUMPS all the other apps combined. They were all trying to do what this app already does. I even upgraded to the pro version, but it's still amazing and fun without doing so. However, the only! issue i've found so far is when you 'swipe' your finger across the screen to scroll through colors, sometimes it scrolls through the colors rapidly fast, while other times, the colors kind of blend and morph into each other slowly. Wish i had control over when it does it without having to restart the app.

Spend the money

I don't know what this app does in detail but I still love it and recommend it!

Stunningly beautiful and blazingly fast!

This app blows me away! I've been obsessed with fractals for years and this app does more than I'd dared hope for. A touchscreen is the perfect interface for exploring fractals and all their glorious depths with gorgeously rendered color and lightning. I'm amazed that graphics of this variety and quality run so smoothly on a handheld device. The developer has done an absolutely wonderful job!
