It didn't upgrade to pro after I purchased it! That's not cool at all. Otherwise, it's the best fractal app that exists, period.

Beautiful app, very responsive developer. Now ALL of my Apple devices (Macs, iPads, iPhone) have wallpapers that I created using either Frax (for iPhone) or Frax HD (for iPad). These wallpapers have become a bit of an obsession for me.

Frax is easily the most powerful and most intuitive fractal generator in the App Store. If you have any interest in fractal artwork, this is the go-to application. That it can generate this level of complexity in realtime is simply astonishing. Also, I had a small problem with upgrading to the Pro version of Frax. Their customer service solved the problem mere hours after I encountered it Kudos to everyone on the Frax team!

I've used pro in past. However now it will not update or download Frax Pro . Instead I get RealTime? What is this all about? Also The blog and help files are linked to Fract.al. Very strange behavior with when I had the Pro in the past. Nasty Stuff runny in the back ground. Would appreciate The honest real Program I have paid for. It states I already have Pro However It does not load or work in Pro Format. Please Help. Thank You!

What a load of garbage! I just spent five bucks on the upgrade to Frank's pro, and it won't download, despite repeated tries, or confirmations from the app! Don't bother. They're cheating you, unless they get this fixed!

This is one of my all time favorite apps. I'm an artistic person, and I'm also into science. Exploring the virtually infinite maps of the Mandelbrot and Julia fractal sets has been like going hunting for something nobody's found before. I've probably spent at least 50 hours so far looking around, tweaking the texture, color and lighting settings, rendering the best things I find to my phone and uploading them to the Frax website so other people can see & use them. Upgrading to the pro version is definitely worth the money, most importantly in my opinion because it greatly increases the complexity and depth that you can explore of the fractals. It's also been really great after a bad day to use in the evening and forget about anything negative and not have any specific goal like a game would, but just relax and create. Very, very great app.
