Still doesn’t give coins for Cemeteries

Overall, the revisions made to Swarm over the years have made it highly useable and fun. However checkins at cemeteries, funeral homes, and hospitals still only yield one coin (even if you’re mayor), and don’t notify or give you bonuses if your mayor. Additionally, sticker bonuses do not work in these places.

Newer Update below. * I preferred Four Square before it was swarm. "Ok" fun features but more adult theme might work too, can it be used/integrated on other websites? Would like to add it to a site I'm building. * It won't let me add friends * Feature to let others see what you're writing but not check them in. * Need an Edit feature * Need a Delete feature ***************************************** This is an update after several years of being on Swarm: Dec. 1, 2017 It’s easy to navigate I enjoy the mayorships! I Rock! Lol See where friends and family are Stickers Contests ...and more Thank you Swarm people behind the computers! Hugs!

As with many other reviewers, I was a regular four square user. I can see the theory behind splitting the apps but a net reduction in functionality!! Why???? They are getting their act back together and hopefully over time the four square-swarm combo will eventually be better than the original foursquare ;)
Draining my battery

Why are there 5 hours of background activity showing when I have the background refresh and location features turned off? Swarm is now always on the top of the app list draining my battery. Please fix it!

I used Foursquare for years & then when it changed to Swarm (it's not easy for me to change) but I downloaded this app & I LOVE IT!! I like how when you forget to check in it shows you places you've been!! AWESOME APP keep up the GOOD WORK!! ??❤️
Ongoing Issues

1) The app promises coins with check-ins but receiving them is hit or miss, even when you are the Mayor. 2) Failed check-ins occur all too often, as though the system has crashed. 3) There are many duplicate locations. If someone wants to be Mayor, they just create a duplicate. 4) The history section search option hasn't worked in weeks. 5) When entering a new location, I'd like to see the app set a default to upper case for the first letter of each name/word in the entry fields. Thank you.

I'm an adult man who loves foursquare and checking-in but hates the infantile interface and corny game premise of this app. I hate the coin animations and I hate the pop-ups. The whole design feels like it's aimed at pre-teens and my adult brain recoils every time I open the app.
