Stop making separate apps

I've been a long Foursquare user and have advocated to all of my friends how amazing the app was. Then Swarm came out and confused the hell out of me. Then Foursquare FORCES all of its users to use Swarm for checking. Wasn't Foursquare built for checkins? Now I'm even more confused. As I try to use both apps, this relationship has drastically changed and it's no longer what I wanted. I'm deleting both Foursquare and Swarm for the same reason I deleted Facebook and Messenger; it hurts the user more than it benefits the brand. I have to manage two separate apps to do two different things that I used to do in one. I'm saddened that Foursquare would ostracize their long following. Goodbye Foursquare, it's not me it's definitely you.

I had almost forgotten the app was installed until it started with the opt-out-only spewing of notification spam trying to recommend restaurants an hour drive away (Oakland to San Jose) and random other stuff nobody wanted to be notified for. What a piece. I feel sorry for the VCs funding this garbage. Either you're smoking crack or I'd love to meet the focus group users you found that actually told you that this was useful to someone.

I get you 5 but we need it in arabic language , why you does not provide it , many and many arabic people use foursquare and love it

Can't check into all of my Mayorships as of today, July 22, 2016. Plus when I was able to check into all of my Mayorships, I checked in every day but still lost 3 of them to someone else. Makes no sense at all. Not very happy with four square and swarm!!

Big Mistake

Developers made a big mistake with the latest update by removing the Check-In button from the first page. Now, you have to tap the three dots before you can check in, which is a huge hassle. The whole point of the app is to check in. Why would you remove this functionality from the main page? I like FourSquare, but let's hope developers make it right with the next update.
