Stop making separate apps – Foursquare City Guide Review

I've been a long Foursquare user and have advocated to all of my friends how amazing the app was. Then Swarm came out and confused the hell out of me. Then Foursquare FORCES all of its users to use Swarm for checking. Wasn't Foursquare built for checkins? Now I'm even more confused. As I try to use both apps, this relationship has drastically changed and it's no longer what I wanted. I'm deleting both Foursquare and Swarm for the same reason I deleted Facebook and Messenger; it hurts the user more than it benefits the brand. I have to manage two separate apps to do two different things that I used to do in one. I'm saddened that Foursquare would ostracize their long following. Goodbye Foursquare, it's not me it's definitely you.
